“Shop Made in VA hosted one of my bachelorette activities and it was a wonderful experience. Ella was a pleasure to work with when it came to planning and finding an activity. She's was quick to respond and answered any questions. The rest of the Shop Made in VA team was just as great.
We decided to go with a flower pressing class with Hailey from Wildry and it was so much fun. Hailey educated us about the flower pressing process and different compositions when designing our pieces. They were so helpful and a great host.
I'm excited to come back and try some of their other classes!”
“such a cute store right in the middle of Falls Church City. Sarah, the owner, is one of the most kind people you will ever meet! This store is such a bright spot, and definitely stop in if you’re looking to make your plant collection a little more unique!”

“The gift shops at the mansion and estate of George Washington is big and sells an extensive variety of souvenirs and gifts, ranging from magnets to household items.
Yes it’s slightly expensive which is typical of gift shops but you would appreciate that the entire property is owned and run by a non-profit organisation and gets no support from the government.”
“Felicia and Victoria were very helpful! Took the time to explain and recommend all snacks that I might enjoy ! If you have the chance stop in and try something do so!! Chips and candy and cookies you’ve never seen before!!”
“Very fun store to visit. Nice selection of jewelry, crafts, and knickknacks. A great place to look for gifts. Also, weirdly a good selection of coffee, tea, and cocoa. All of those are covered by a rewards program if you go regularly. The spicy cocoa is particularly tasty.”

“An amazing place to stumble into during a hot girl walk, perfect for finding a unique card for your long-distance best friend in Europe. A HUGEEEEE shoutout to Monique (hope I’m spelling it correctly) for beautifully handwriting my message inside the card”
“Enjoyed my visit to the charming Pear Tree Cottage. The owner is such an enthusiastic and engaging woman. I've driven past the store for many years and finally made the time to visit after seeing such a delightful holiday decorated storefront. Highly recommend this store.”
“I went today for my birthday month free 6 piece dipped fruit. I didn't call first like I should but they were fast and gave me 6 chocolate covered strawberries!! I love edible arrangements and this store is always on point.”
“This great gift shop has a small high end consignment section, where you can find fine china, crystal and silver and items like Herend mini figs. They have a fantastic selection of gifts and it's my go-to for the holidays and birthday presents for those hard to shop for as well as unique items. Some of my favorite seasonal decor is from this store! The staff is incredibly friendly and always wrap my purchases so nicely for gifts.”

“Great gift shop for when you need something really special. They also have a nice selection of Virginia (and made-in-Virginia) gifts, including local things like kitchen towels that say Fairfax on them, and a lot of cute things that are perfect for when you want to give a gift but don't want to give something really generic. Most stuff in the store is made in the USA, also a plus.”
“A Mano is the number one gift resource in DC. I had no idea what to get our clients and friends for the holidays this year. I walked into A Mano in Georgetown and Mary took care of everything, quickly gave me ideas and ranges - a monogrammed throw was a big hit, along with inventive items you're not going to find anywhere else. Gift wrapping was pro level. Thanks also to Stacey for help via text - great service!”
“I think my 6 year old said it best, "wow! This is like an art museum! Oh every room gets better!" Urban farmhouse is a treasure. I come here (and upstairs to Covet) any time I want to find a unique and thoughtful gift. I adore the urban farmhouse vibe, I think I've gotten everything from greeting cards to unique vases to guacamole dishes to bottle openers to tea mugs. I'm delighted every time by the curated selection and friendly service. Shop local and this lovely spot!!”
“I had a good experience with this location. After I placed an order I learned that someone was allergic to certain fruits. I called and Rosie answered and swapped out the fruit with other delicious items. The tray arrived on time and the fruit and cheesecakes were delicious.”
“We had a last minute order for a senior citizen group of Arlington Virginia. They planned a picnic event. I called Edible at N. Quincy street and explained that I wanted to make it special for the seniors and if they could assist me with creating an arrangement for me to pick up. The lady that took the order was so friendly and nice she said yes I can pick it up. The arrangement was beautiful ? ? ?”
“I had the edible arrangement sent as a gift and the delivery guy, Bobby, had trouble with the physical address. He went above and beyond to get my gift to the recipient. When she couldn’t pick it up at the store, he made a special attempt and re-delivered the gift. I am thrilled with the service!”

“Passionately Pets provided excellent walking services on our recent vacation. Our sitter, Jeff, was courteous and seemed confident in his ability to handle our sometimes obstreperous 95 lbs German Shepherd. Unlike other walking services we have used, Jeff actually walked our dog for most of the 30 minute visit. Would definitely recommend.”
