“Went to Petco to find a raincoat for my 10# chihuahua mix, who has a long body and is hard to fit. Staff were very helpful in helping me choose the raincoat with hood I purchased (size small). Fits my dog well and she even likes the hood. Wouldn't go out in the rain before but now wants to go on long walks in the rain. Coat kept her dry head to tail.”
“My husband surprised me with a basset puppy for my birthday. He was adorable. Unfortunately, within days of adoption he was diagnosed with pneumonia and a parasite. I know that sounds like a terrible experience, but I will say that the owner was more than willing to help us get him into a vet sooner than his original appointment and even paid for the vet bills for it. They even checked in and gave us free pet food to help with administration of the meds. They also agreed to pay for his next initial visit for vaccines since we weren’t able to get that done with his pneumonia the first go around. So all and all it’s been a great experience and he’s been a healthy puppy other than the few hiccups after adoption. I think pet stores are a lot like daycares.. even with the best care and prevention; germs can make it in. I would recommend Pets Plus even after the few issues we’ve had.”
