Claude Moore Park Visitor Center is part of a beautiful park in Sterling with wooded lanes, green meadows, sparkling ponds, and wildlife. It is a unique green space with plenty of space and nature, including a good trail to hike and a trail around the pond. The knowledgeable and very approachable park staff at the visitor center know the park well, helping visitors understand the species of trees, native plants, and animals. They offer many kid programs and work to maintain one of the best nature centers, noted for its incredible number of butterfly species and collection of native plants. The park is great for kids, dogs, and photoshoots, featuring a sandbox, fields, and paths. Overall, it is a nice park, a beautiful little nook, and a treasure with plenty of parking.

Great place to walk/ hike easy trails. Lovely ponds and dog friendly!

Some of the ball fields are sloped in the outfield. Made for tracking the ball more difficult than need be. Plenty of parking. Overall a nice park for the kids & sports.
