“They were very efficient and kind while with my fur baby. They explained all procedures and test results. Helped with getting kennel out of and into the car. I did not feel rushed. Everyone was smiling and happy.”

“I can’t believe I haven’t made a review on this vet clinic yet. My pets have been seen at this vet for a couple of years now. I was recommended this vet by a family member who previously worked there and had nothing but great things to say about it, and she was absolutely right. Nansemond Vet has been nothing but kind to me and my pets. My dog, in particular, is pretty anxious, and they’re so understanding with her. They’re definitely experienced when it comes to handling stressed animals. I just can’t recommend this vet enough. Dr. Cochran is amazing, and I also want to give a shoutout to the ladies at the front desk who are always so friendly and kind. I plan on having my pets seen at this vet even after we move out of the area!”

“We were in a true emergency with our little doeling. We had no idea who we could contact but received a recommendation and took it. For a holiday weekend call we spoke with Dr. Rieger while we were out of town, but in desperate need and she calmly talked us through what needed to happen. We couldn't be more appreciative of the time she took to help us in a tragic situation. We are truly thankful for her!!! Highly recommended!”

“I’m a new cat momma, so I was very nervous. My Marley boy did amazing. From the front desk and checking out, everyone was great. Overall Super friendly/clean/quiet. Checked in at 245 for my 3pm appt and was in a room immediately. Dr Richie and his tech were awesome. We were in and out in 25 mins with full care and preventative measures applied. Highly recommend Five stars ? for sure”

“Before traveling out of the country I was in town for only a few days but Olivia was absolutely incredible getting everything put together for us so our pets could travel with us. If it weren’t for her I would have been lost. The Dr preforming the exam was also incredible. She made our pets safe and welcome and took excellent care of them. I only visited here once but based on that interaction I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone. Truly amazing staff who went above and beyond. If you read this bring your pets here!”

“I’ve been to The Cove a few times now for my Labrador. They were great every time. They helped me get my boy back to normal and feeling good again, and the price was reasonable. Thanks for everything!”
