“On a recent RV trip through Virginia we experienced a blowout on I-81 on our way to Hungry Mother State Park. We visited Thompson Tire where they ordered us a set of Goodyear Wranglers and promised to install them the next day, which they did, and all for a very competitive price. They even provided us with suggestions on what sites to see in Marion while they installed the tires since they are just two blocks from the historic downtown area. “Due to being in sales, I am in multiple businesses across the New River Valley. Within the last few months, I was in Brandon's business several times. Not trying to spy on him or on his crew, I overheard several conversations about work done on customer's cars. I have to say I heard Brandon several times say things to his staff that decreased what customers were charged overall. He did not charge for time he could have, he did not charge for certain things if he felt he was not clear with customers on what they would be charged, etc. Honestly, you just don't hear many business conversations like that anymore in any type of business. I have never told him personally; but if I ever have any car issues, I will drive from my home over 45 minutes away to have my work done by him. Just because I was in his shop doing my job, and I saw his honesty behind the scenes.”
