“Last night my van stalled on 419 in Roanoke. I drifted onto a side street but was blocking traffic. I had no power. It was raining. I have had AAA travel insurance for many years. I called for roadside assistance and also called Roanoke County police. The officer was very helpful. AAA estimated an extensive response time & said someone would call me back. No one did. The officer called Fat Boys tow service. They came in a reasonable time. Shane was the gentleman who was able to tow my van to nearby Firestone. He was also able to restore power enough for me to put the window up , secure the belongings I needed & lock it. Shane then waited for me to complete the info & drop the key & for my daughter to provide me a ride home. He was so very helpful and professional. “We were on I-81 when our fifth wheel camper had a problem with the rear tire and we had to pull off at an exit into a gas station. Luckily Hugh’s transport was only half a mile away and came quickly and removed the rear tire and then we were able to safely drive to their shop. They replaced the two rear tires and we needed a new hub assembly as well. Steve was able to do the job right away, even working through his lunch to help us get back on the road quickly. The entire staff was very helpful and even let us take our dog into the waiting room with us since it was 90 degrees outside. I can’t say enough good things about everyone at this place. We were so lucky to have had them nearby when we broke down.”

“This location was very good. The location on Melrose needs a staff change. I pulled into the lot they had half blocked with a trailer and their employee was honking her horn at me me while sitting in her car smoking. Really? Work for me? Not ever! I rolled my window down and she said. Go back where you came from. I said what? She repeated. I said, I have propane tanks to fill she said, they don't work. I don't argue with bad attitude employees. I just don't go back. She was not worth what I would say t8 her about her actions. The young man on Hershberger, complete opposite. He was dealing with less than respectful customers, and handled it well. I do recommend the Hershberger location.”

“Needing a tow isn't a great experience. But if you need it, I highly recommend them. They were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They were also the fastest time I was quoted around. I had to 40ft truck towed and I will keep them on speed dial in case I ever need them again. Wish they were in every town. They also made the pay process with a card very easy.”
