“We stayed at the Chesapeake Inn for the Christmas parade and holiday shopping. Everything was perfect! The little touches such as snack in the rooms, books and toys in the common and hallways and beautiful areas decorated for Christmas will definitely be remembered. We even left two handmade leather belts that we bought at the town farmers market that they were able to mail to us. Greatly appreciate the hospitality and will be back soon!”

“We love the Tides Inn. The service here is excellent, the amenities are refined, and the food at the restaurants is delicious. Definitely make sure you can stay for a full day to take advantage of all of the resort’s offerings.

Nearby activities: There are a few restaurants in town that a shuttle will take you to. There are some wineries nearby too. But you can easily spend your whole time at the Inn not leaving the campus.

Walkability: Make sure to walk along the boardwalk trail. You can get to every spot in the resort without driving. The elevators are a bit slow.

Food and drinks: There are two restaurants — Salt and Meadow and Fish Hawk Oyster Bar. Salt and Meadow is more upscale, while Fish Hawk is laid back - burgers and fries and the like.

Noteworthy details: Each room comes with a luxurious robe, snacks, magazines, and toiletries. There is a gift shop on site, a gym, and a spa.”
