Very friendly staff, however I will say that our vist yesterday, on 10/16 was a long 5 hour wait and that is due to there only being 1 Vet and they were extremely busy. You would think if a place uses the word "emergency" they would have more than 1 Dr. available at all times being a 24 hr service. Would also recommend seats that are actually comfortable if people have to wait a long period for their fur kids to be seen.

My puppy was dying and I called, rushed him in, unfortunately he passed when he got there, but the team were so quick with getting him to the back and let me see him before leaving him there to get cremated. They were super compassionate and I’m glad they were trying to be extremely helpful in a stressful and sad situation.

Fast, friendly, and super professional! We were in town visiting and our dog opened her bandage and they fixed her up in about 30 minutes! Thank y’all so much!

I can't express enough gratitude for the incredible care my pet received at Verona Emergency Services. In the middle of the day, we were faced with a frightening emergency, and the team here immediately sprang into action. From the front desk staff to the skilled veterinarians, everyone was compassionate, professional, and understanding.
They kept me updated throughout the process and patiently answered all my questions, helping me feel reassured in such a stressful situation. Most importantly, they treated my pet with kindness and urgency. The facilities were clean, and the entire experience was handled with care.
Thank you to the entire team for being there when we needed you the most. I highly recommend Verona Emergency Services for any emergency care needs!

TERRIBLE! I waited over 3 hours in the car with my dog who had not voided in 24hrs, to be told a euthanasia took precedence over my ill canine. I was then told it would be another hour or so, because a patient took a “turn for the worse”, but watched owners with their pets come and go! With an hour drive to this location, even calling ahead to ensure this was the right measure for me to take bringing her to an urgent care, I was told I would be able to have my dog seen at around 1:00am!! I arrived 35 minutes early, filled out the necessary paperwork and still left with an ill, untreated dog! Disgusted does not even cover it! I will never utilize or recommend this clinic!!

We called ahead was given a 7 pm appointment, waited over 3 hours to be seen, what was purpose of appointment?, not very efficient did not really seem to care.

I wish i lived closer to this emergency vet clinic but its worth the 45 minute drive because they took such excellent care of my kitty that was really sick. My 4 month old kitten was non stop throwing up and it was past the normal business hours of my vet office and I'm thankful i was able to bring him in to get the help he needed. The staff was super friendly and i also mentioned how i was on a budget and they were able to work around my budget and do the necessary tests and treatment for my kitten to feel better. They gave him fluids and also an anti nausea medication and also did a few X-rays to make sure there wasn’t any blockage. This place is amazing at what they do and the staff genuinely cares for your pets! They care so much they are willing to work with you to provide the best possible treatment plan for your pets needs.

We called at 5 pm to ask if we could bring our cat in anytime that night. Our cat has an infected site where she got spayed. They said to bring her in at 8 pm, so we got there at 8. It took an hour and a half to get into a room. Then we sat in the room for another hour without being seen. They kept telling us that someone would be in soon, but no one ever came. All we needed was a cone or some antibiotics or some pain meds and I’m sure the vet would only need 5 mins to know that. We said as we were walking out that we needed to leave, and they said all cheery “ok bye!” The best part was that as we were waiting in the lobby, 3 vet techs, and 2 office people were gossiping for a good 15 mins about another coworker and their problem with alcohol. It was incredibly unprofessional to do that in front of us while we waited for our sick cat to be seen. Never returning here again. Worst vet experience of our life. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

Great service and friendly staff. They were able to work us in even though we were not one of their clients. We called ahead after our dog got bitten by a snake, and they were ready to receive her immediately upon arrival. It was expensive, but that’s what you get with Sunday afternoon treatment. Definitely worth it to get our dog the necessary treatment and help her recover. Thanks VES!!

During an emergency at home, VES spoke with me on the phone and walked me through the process of trying to help my pet before we could make it to their facility. At the clinic, we were greeted by a kind worker ready to help us and the receptionist was friendly and caring toward our situation, even checking in on our pets progress in the back before we were escorted into a room. We were shown an entire treatment plan along with an estimate for emergency surgery. When talking with the veterinarian and technician, they both answered our questions and began working on our pet. The process was fast and efficient, and we left with written discharge instructions, alongside much needed medication during his healing process. Zipp is resting comfortably and we are forever thankful for how quickly and compassionate the staff were.

We had to have our elderly dog euthanized. They were caring and compassionate to us and to our pet. In as much as it was a bad situation they helped as much as they could to make it easier on all of us. Thank you.

Went here on a Saturday for my cat peeing blood and the wait was not too long. The vet was in for 2 minutes max and said uti so the vet assistant came in with a treatment plan. There was like 4 or 5 different meds on it for a uti! 400 dollars!! After leaving and paying because your just in the mindset that your pet needs all these drugs so you agree and pay you get home to like what just happened?? Why did they give her all these meds for a uti?? She had no nausea and got one for that she was eating and drinking but she was hydrated under the skin ? I could see giving her pain meds and antibiotics but why all the other meds and 4 or 5 ones for uti? They play on the fact that your pet is sick so you will. All those drugs caused my cat to be so out of it for over 3 DAYS. Over a uti?? It was overkill on the meds. Yes I could have said no to most of the treatment but you just believe at the time this is what is needed until later when you think through it. Yes they are nice but this was overkill on meds not really needed for profit. Be aware you can say something while your there !!!

My sweet furbaby was there last night. He was very sick. The staff was very helpful and told me the results of his labs in the terms I could understand. I had to make the gut wrenching decision to have him sleep forever. The staff was very caring and talked me through their every step. They gave me as much time as needed with nyny. Thank you VES for caring. Rest in kitty heaven nyny
