Kempsville's Ace Hardware is a great neighborhood hardware store in an almost hidden location. It is a much larger than normal small hardware store that reminds customers of a hardware store from years past, where you can still buy nails by the pound. It has things that the big hardware stores don't, and whatever hardware item you’re looking for, they probably have it, including obscure and hard-to-find items. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. As the helpful hardware folks in the neighborhood, they are committed to offering personal service, quality products, and a convenient shopping experience. It is highly recommended and worth your time.

I love this place! The employees are always willing to help and answer my questions. I brought in a small door that I couldn't get the screw out of one of the hinges. They didnt try to sell me anything, but removed the screw. Worth going to over Lowes or Home Depot any day.
