“The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the time standing in line to check out. But like so many places, they may just be short on help. I absolutely love the selection of fresh flowers! They are always beautiful and the prices are good. They have a large variety of cheese and deli meats. The guys in the seafood department are awesome and very helpful. They have a wonderful selection of wines also. I find the staff to be very friendly and helpful each time I shop there.”
“First time at this location. I was actually shopping for someone else to ill to do it themselves. The store is located just off the intersection of Dam Neck and General Booth. The lot was clear of debris and walk up tidy. This is an old building, but it looked ok. I found the store clean and stock of items organized. The Deli staff was helpful and friendly. Although the store is older everything was maintained and in working order. I picked up a prescription and the staff had prepared it for my arrival. The staff was nice. This Food Lion has the only pharmacy on the Southside. I utilized self checkout which is new to Food Lion. I actually try to avoid, but the lines were long at the two full service registers. Everything worked fine and now hitches with processing my card. My receipt said I saved over $5 on 8 items using my MVP Card. I would return and recommend.”

“This Ace Check Cashing is located at the corner of Lynnhaven and Rosemont Rd. When i walked in it was only one person in line. The cashier greeted me and was friendly. She advised me if you have the app you can transfer funds from your bank directly to your prepaid card. No one else told me this, so i was happy she mentioned it. It will definitely save time in the future. They have a Flare pre-paid card thats $9.95 a month and $3.95 to load money each time. I like using the card for online purchases and paying bills. But seriously, at minimum of $14 a month it may not be worth it. Thats kinda pricey... But they offer several other services as well. Check cashing, bill payments, prepaid cards, and etc. The representative was nice and informative. She was honest and i appreciate Krystal telling me what i needed to know.. I'll return to this location.. The transaction went smoothly and i was in and out!! Check them out!!”
