CHKD Thrift Store is a fun local thrift store benefiting The Children’s Hospital, a charitable cause. Shoppers can find high quality items, many perfectly usable and some even new in box, including clothes, furniture, books, and retro tech. It supports a good cause and provides high-impact environmental savings through purposeful recycling. The store is currently in the middle of a huge merge, which can lead to a bit of chaos and a need for more organization, making it a treasure hunt to get through. However, the staff is consistently noted as friendly, helpful, super friendly, accommodating, and a true pleasure. They are known to be informative about specials and accommodating to customers. While the store can be messy during transitions, part of the fun is the exciting treasure hunt of finding new things. Customers are encouraged to bring their own bags or ask for them.
