“This is a good place to shop . I always find what I need and I've never had to deal with a rude employee but I really wish they would find a better option than tape to keep dishes together. The tape leaves a residue on them. That's the only complaint I really have.”

“Second Chance Thrift is now JCOC Thrift. The current owner bought Second Chance Thrift a couple of years ago and has now consolidated her former 2nd store, that was on South Plaza Trail in VB, into this location and renamed it JCOC Thrift within the last couple of weeks. So I popped into here Sunday (Dec 18th) afternoon on a semi-regular visit and was happy to find an old Sony DSC-S75 digital camera. The entire thing was complete in the box for $15.00. While the box has seen better days the camera appears to have been sparsely used. It looks and runs as if it was brand new. AV Cable, USB Cable, Sony Memory Card, Instructions, CD and Sony carry case all included. The battery needs to be replaced as it doesn't hold a charge like it used to but that's a small price to pay for basically a new camera. One more digicam for my gear acquisition syndrome. As always the staff was super friendly and accommodating and I look forward to my next visit in the new year.”

“Giving my experience from a disabled person's POV. You will need to bring your own form of wheelchair or electric scooter. The aisles are generally wide enough, but the clothing aisles are tight for two standing side by side anyways. I generally find most go around to the other end, or joke about it. The items always vary and if I can't find an item I'm searching for, I seem to find another at a bargain. The staff was very helpful, the store looked and smelled clean.”

“The cleanest and nicest-looking Goodwill location I've visited in Virginia Beach. Very well-lit. Fitting rooms were incredibly spacious and clean. The lady working behind the counter was very pleasant. Weekly discounts are pretty generous as well (50% and 75% off by color tags). The only con for me was that the amount of clothing for men was pretty limited, even for Goodwill standards. But that is definitely not the case for their women's section. Overall, it was a positive experience.”

“I come here allot I see and hear allot its a great place ,The staff here is very understanding, and very nice, but they get allot of Karens, one Lady kept marking down ítems then complaining whenever they refused to let her basically steal, one Lady Brought a dresser from there and tried to refund it 10 minutes later after she found out it wouldnt fit in her car when they denied her as there is a no refund policy, she said there was bed bugs and caused a scene. Some people are so entittled. The staff matchs your energy so if they're Rude ask yourselfwhy? There was 9 months they didnt have air and they had to work in 92 degree heat people yelling at them for something they didnt have control over. As for the prices they price everything half of its original price so a $50 purse would be $25 instead. Keep that in mind whenever shopping here Their pricing is cheaper, but they discount it even more than most places even Goodwill.”

Their items are always in great shape and at a great price. I always seem to find great items and walk out happy each and every time! I shop here literally every month and sometimes just stop in each weekends, just to see if I find another amazing item! I have purchased tons of clothing, from newborn onesies, snowsuits, great outfits, sweaters, coats, summer swimwear, sun hats, shoes and toys! One day while shopping I brought tons of their amazing toys that were in excellent shape, had all the parts, and at a great price! “Great prices; I found some very nice clothes, 2 new books and several dvd movies. Good shoes and bags too. The only negative is that you can’t tell the clothes sizes. It’s not labeled only the price of the kind of clothing is. Probably not their fault but; It’s a annoying to not find my exact size while looking through several racks of xs, s, m, L and then jump from L to 4XL to 1XL and there be no XL or I would find my size but it looks very used and stained/ ripped. But I found my diamonds in the rough. Thanks GoodWill”

“My first time going in and they were warm and pleasant and they made me feel comfortable...I brought 1 bag and 1 bin of shoes... they didn't take the shoes however they took 3 items for 20 which was cool... they were professional and will go to here in the future if I need to. They were friendly and it was actually really warm and pretty on the inside it looks like a retail store... everybody was keeping busy the whole time unlike associates at Plato's closet... thanks for being great I'm customer service and being professional!”
