“Japanese Auto Masters was recommended by a friend. I needed my tranny fluid flushed and changed, but knew it required a specific type. David assured me that what they use is compatible with Toyota's WS ATF. I was concerned as my experience with auto shops is not the best. But, given my friends satisfaction with their service, I requested the tranny fluid and brake fluid be flushed and changed and the front and rear differential fluid and transfer fluid be changed. They did a superb job. No issues at all with the truck and the price was very fair. They also called me to say that I needed to replace my wiper blades and cabin filter. I have them the go-ahead. I really like these folks! Friendly, courteous, trustworthy, and fair! I couldn't ask for more! I enthusiastically recommend Japanese Auto Masters for any service needs. You won't be disappointed.

“From now on, this is the only place I will go for auto services! I tried a few other places before, and Christian Brothers far outshone them all, from the clarity of the estimate and inspection report to the quality of the service I received. The people are so friendly, and when my inspection was done they talked me through everything they found. I also was able to use the shuttle service, which took away the stress of trying to find someone to drive me there and back while my car was being serviced. You pay a bit more for labor I think, but for me it was worth it. 10/10!”
“Of the mechanics I've been to over the years, Team Eddie's is my favorite! They are honest and hard working. They show you the broken parts, let you get a glimpse of their troubleshooting, and everything. They saved me money both times I went. For example the second time, they were my second opinion after I was told to replace both front struts by another mechanic. They said that it looked at a glance like the possible fix, too, but after listening to the frame (with essentially a stethoscope) and doing some experiments with the movement of the parts, they discovered the real problem was elsewhere. 100% IMO.”
“This place saved me 185 dollars Meineke was trying to scam out of me, all I had was a sensor that Meineke forgot or intentionally unplugged and when I asked why my engine light was on after I just spent 2400 dollars having them put on new brakes and other stuff they tell me it’s gonna be 185 dollars to figure out why the light was on I walked out and went to Beach Auto repair LITERALLY 30 seconds and Cody fixed the issue and even REFUSED to accept 50 dollars I was trying to give him PROTECT CODY AT ALL COSTS, this place seems a little run down but the people there are amazing! “Bill at the front desk is very pleasant. Brian, who changed the oil and did my brake pads, was great.
I thought my brake pads were in need of replacement, Brian took a look and showed me the front could last a little longer but the back needed to be changed soon. So, we went ahead and changed both axels (front and back). And it only took about 2 hours! Great customer service, would definitely recommend A+ MAQ Auto Repair to friends and family!”

“To keep this simple. I have been dealing with vibration and steering issues on a new 2021 ram 2500 diesel. I spent 2.5 years going back and forth with hall jeep on virginia beach road near sams. I dropped off my truck once with back bay auto repair and not only did they fix what the dealership could not, they were priced far better than any repair shop I have worked with in the past 15 years. My truck feels new again and definitely feel like going on a long trip with it. A feeling I have not had from a year after buying it new.
I strongly recommend this shop as I feel you will get what you expect from their service.”

Rodney at the front is personable and straightforward, and their willingness and comfortablity with working with an old car like mine makes me feel like it's in good hands. Even other AAMCOs have tried telling me I need work on things that are perfectly fine just based on the vehicle's age and not the parts themselves, but these guys are HONEST. Even identified things outside of the transmission that needed fixing and were willing to do all the repairs in one go. Vehicle checks are free too which is a major plus since it shows they're confident in their work, and other places have tried charging me well over 50usd just to look at the car.”

“Robert is excellent, he greets you with a smile and a joke or two, but what really makes this place golden is that they are fast, honest, friendly and gives you a family vibe! He knew 90% of the customers that came in by name while I was there and what stood out the most they were mostly older females that trusted him and they were all smiling lol, how often are you smiling going to an auto shop? It's the smile knowing you are not about to get scammed and will get quality service. I told him on the way out what I observed and he told me that he has his daughters so he gets it and his friends all send their female friends/relatives to him knowing they are not going to get scammed. I had been previously using a local tire place, I purchased tires and they “could not do the alignment”. They billed and supposedly did it a year early and placed on the most recent bill. What was I supposed to do, take the tires off! So I went to this place and they did it. My new place for service. My vehicle is a Ford, 10yrs old and 60,000.”
