“I have had a unit on Lynnhave Pkwy for over 18+ years. I was always treated with respect and kindness. I will say I am disappointed they haqve gone to an over phone/computer a sign up to rent a unit. No onsiite to get help, no on site security. I must say I was told that all sites are monitored by camera. And 1 site had someone who appeared to be trying to break in to a unit. The police were called, and arrived before they could access the unit. I hope it continues to be safe.
But I must say, I will miss the interaction with the on-site office help!!!!

“I recently rented a Class B Box truck from this location. LJ in the office maintained communication from start to finish and was very prompt in her replies. I had an issue arise during my rental and the staff at this location not only resolved my issue, they went above and beyond and made sure I was beyond satisfied with the resolution. I was very pleased with the experience and would not hesitate to use them again for my next commercial rental needs.”

“I have rented vehicles from the Green Run Square location many times. I have reserved and picked up vehicles by phone and in person. Online reservation and phone pick up were smooth and easy to follow. For in person pick ups, always greeted warmly by courteous staff. No problems with vehicles.”

“I had a very positive experience renting a u-haul truck and auto transport trailer from here. The office location is inside the Shell gas station. The people were friendly and helpful. I was moving from Virginia to Arizona so they helped me to find the newest truck and also the best auto transport trailer they had. They also helped me to attach the trailer to the truck, load my car on top of the trailer and secure it. The truck had only quarter tank full of gas so they helped me to get it full from their gas station and to my surprise they gave me 5 cents discount per gallon! Totally positive experience and much recommended!”

“Given the mixed reviews for this location, I wanted to share a very positive experience. I needed a 12' truck to move my daughter's belongings from Virginia Beach, picking up more furniture/boxes from Charlottesville, and dropping off the items and truck in Northern Virginia. I was going to follow my husband in our personal car so that we'd have a ride back from NoVa.
When I showed up to pick up the truck, the woman/owner at the front desk helping me commented on how expensive the estimate was and worked with me to figure out an alternative which ended up costing less than half of the original estimate. (I'll also mention that the cost was less than the UHaul I originally reserved to pick up in Charlottesville and drop off in NoVa. I ended up cancelling that reservation because when I called the day before, UHaul was unable to 100% confirm theyd' have a truck for me.) We ended up making a round-trip back to drop the truck off in Virginia Beach (didn't need our personal vehicle). I was happy to get a 2023 truck which was practically new with only 23K on it. Thank you!”
“Me and my grandpa went to this uhaul cause he is moving and he wanted boxes so we went to this uhaul but all I got to say this is so good the employees was nice and she helped me and my great grandpa and he had a paper and she got us some boxes like for example we needed a 24X18 and she got us that and after she helped us move the boxes in the car so to that nice women thank you and I say this uhaul is great y'all should go if y'all like good employees.”

“The van was well maintained and clean. The older maintenance tech was friendly and full of personality! After reading previous reviews I braced myself for rudeness from the desk clerk Kaitlyn, but to my delight she was ok. I will assume that she’s had discussions with management to alter her attitude. Good job. As this was a last minute rental and easy, I would recommend this location for the area.”
