DO NOT USE USPS...If you want your package to actually arrive at its destination do not use USPS. Im pretty sure they are stealing packages. They get scanned in as in possession and never leave the post office. The entire system is automated, theres no way to speak to a human, its just a run around of filing "online claims" and "missing mail" inquiries.

They rejected my change of address and are deliberately sending my mail to the wrong address. Now I have to waste my time by going back with my ID, which they needed to do the request in the first place.

This post office is the worst!! No professionalism and they only have one person working the front desk. Terrible service and the line is out the door!!

Staff are overworked and still try to be nice. Today I tried to go in and this woman was working ALONE with a line out the door.

I usually have good interactions here. The wait can be rough but overall, friendly staff and clean atmosphere.

A guy came in today that did not speak English and instead of trying to help him the clerk (short caucasian woman) was rude and condescending. It was sad to watch. I asked if anyone inside spoke Spanish but unfortunately no one did. They need a better system to accommodate EVERYONE! Aside from that, my visit was quick,

This post office lost two checks that I had been waiting a month for. This set me back on so much. They need to be investigated because this process has been so stressful. And I still haven't gotten my checks.

Went to the Columbus Street location to mail a package during mid day hours. It was quite busy, AC unit was being replaced, however I had zero issues and received excellent service from Nakia. I was greeted promptly and my questions answered. The older gentleman working at the next counter was also friendly!

I really like this little post office. The workers are cordial and often friendly, even though they need to work in less than ideal circumstances (the ac doesnt work properly) and I know some of the workers are new and need more guidance so sometimes processing can take a bit of time. I honestly have not waited more than 20 minutes, but usually it's about 10 min wait with 2 workers up front, quicker if more are up there.I also love my usps delivery lady. She is so nice and seems to care about delivering mail correctly. Before she came along, I did indeed have a lot of mail issues at my residence near campus east, but I think they are trying hard and have new workers that respect the job. She (usps delivery lady) greets myself and my toddler if we see her and is got a smile every time.Other post offices I go to can be rude or just no personality.I do wish they would fix the facilities and air especially for the workers. When we moved in, we had to have our box rekeyed and that took about 3 months really for the PO to rekey (about 2 years ago now)I told my LL that they should not do that again to the next tenant. Its very important to recieve mail at your home when you first move too!All in all, in a very crazy busy town with a lot of mail transactions and people moving all the time due to military and other things, I think they keep up quite well- norfolk po's? not a chance!!

Not sure how to categorize what happen.Just wanted to drop something off for a customer with a prepaid shipping label.Went in to use the scan-n-go machine. Scanned the package go through to transaction but didn’t get a receipt. Also notice package is too big to fit through the drop box.So wait in line to get some help. Ask if I can get a shipping label receipt for the package. Didn’t get her name but it was a older Caucasian woman. She takes the package puts it on the scale. Then Listed several issues with the package. One being the weight was off. Said something about the box would hold up. The asked me where I got it from and told me to get my money back then come back. I was very confused because I have never had an issues with the process before. After she clarified the specific issue, which was that the box was fine but the label needed to go. She then took the label off and slide everything back.I asked if I could just purchase both a new box and a label which she seemed visible annoyed with. Which is where she bring up another issue being that the labeled didn’t have a “to” or “from”. Which was “odd” because the label had both of those things. She then handed me a pen told me to step aside and write it in the box.In the process of found that but just didn’t feel right at all how that little transaction was going to I slide her marker back to here and left.On my way out I noticed my receipt poking out of the drop off machine. So I took my package out of the card board box. Attached a new label to the new box and her coworker took it no problem.I hope it doesn’t get “lost” in transit

All of the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and very patient considering the harsh customers they come across. They deserve more stars!

Customer service is terrible!! I don’t understand how someone can willingly work and have the attitude they have while attending to customers. It’s your job so please be respectful.

I went to the post office at viking to apply for a passport they told me that they don't do passports. I let them know that i had applied for a passport thru the viking office before, the lady gave me a dirty look and told me i was mistaken. This is the kind of people they have working in that post office, rude, liars and lazy. They should investigate this people before they hire them, don't just hire somebody because you like them, you will be sorry later Tony. No thanks just want people to know about the viking post office. I would give the people that really care one star.
