“Fantastic museum where almost all of the planes are airworthy!! I got to visit all the hangars with a group and a tour guide. The guide was so wonderfully knowledgeable and kept the energy up through every exhibit! All of the volunteers are very kind and open to answering any questions. Overall 5/5, great place to admire beautifully taken care of historic aircraft.”

“We visit for cheer. The One cheer and dance competition is held at this venue. We love it. If you've been to a cheer comp they get crowded. This location offers spacing and allows us to get the kids ready to go easily. With cross overs and outfit changes, hair changes its nice to have the space”

“I cannot emphasize how much my husband and I LOVE coming to DanceSport on for Friday night lessons and socials. We literally tell anyone who will listen how fun it is, what a great date night it is, and how affordable it is! Talk about bang for your buck. There's always someone willing to teach you a few steps if you're new or don't know a specific dance because everyone is just that friendly. We also did lessons there for a while and hope to do some more eventually and the lessons are top notch as well. Seriously, LOVE DanceSport!”

“Nice rink. Price was average for area. Pretty decent amount of people there on a Friday night. Almost all tweens/teens. The gentleman at the front register commented on my skates, which are over 30 years old, so I thought that was pretty cool. Out of all the rinks in this area this one is definitely my fave. Will be taking my daughter and her friends back soon. And myself of course! Lol. Never too old to have fun skating??”

“There are so many great things I can say about Bayside 218 Masonic lodge and nothing negative.I gave my husband a 70th birthday party there April 29th and it was simply a perfect day. The staff were super helpful and super friendly beyond my expectations They address all Concerns and questions leading up to the date. All the staff I met were super friendly. They made us feel like family. If you want a large room for 100 plus guest I recommend BAYSIDE 218 MASONIC LODGE located on Independence Blvd, VA Beach. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

“This review is WAY overdue. Catering Concepts did the catering for our wedding and wow did they deliver! We did passed appetizers for cocktail hour, buffet style taco bar with some sides, and an open bar with us providing alcohol. They worked with us to accommodate vegetarian dishes. The fish tacos were a huge hit!! Everyone raves about the staff and food. They did so much to help setup and cleanup. Can’t say enough. Hire them!”

“Regina Rose has been the most amazing instructor. Even from just the first session I could see how good of a teacher she is, adapting to how each of us learn. My fiancé and I wanted to take lessons to have a very memorable first dance at our wedding. With me working second shift and him working first shift and having evening classes, our schedule is a mess- but she was consistently flexible and we got several good lessons in. On top of us learning a lot she even recommended a DJ to us and got us a deal with them too. I would recommend Regina to anyone and everyone I hear asking about dance lessons of any kind.”

“A great place to hold your event. There's two rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs that should suit your needs. They also have outdoor areas along the boat dock and a small grassy area nearby. There's also a patio/deck area as well. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.”

“Not a full sized rink. Good spot to keep your skills alive by the very least but due to the smaller size rink it can get crowded easier.
The rental skates I used were in good condition. Not overused like some other ice skating facilities. I hope everyone has a good time on the ice. Oh yea, and the staff was very nice.”

“My grandson's 6th birthday party went pretty well. The children seemed to have a great time. Wristbands and cards were plentiful, so the children continued enjoying playing and skating! Food was provided; my "kids" must've requested multiple pitchers of punch, soda, and water. These supplemented a variety of thin sliced pizzas and chicken nuggets. The biggest mishap was the damaged birthday cake my d-i-l had to place into the fridge, prior to the "meal" announcement! She'd made "repairs" before a staffer came to investigate the problem! All in all, it was a fun way for the youngsters to burn off some energy!”

“This was our first visit to Virginia Beach and Springhill Suites did not disappoint. Our room was clean and as described, the hotel staff were friendly and we enjoyed talking with Chris each morning at breakfast. She was friendly and a delight to talk with. The front desk people were courteous as well and helped answer any questions we had. We will definitely return here in future trips. The location was perfect and we loved the choices of both indoor and outdoor pool.”

“11/7- UPDATE! I will never stay here again!! I got back tonight and the parking spot they saved for me was taken! (Even the illegal one i stayed in last night!!) Then they told me i had to park 2 blocks away and pay for it. Im not carrying all my stuff 2 blocks. Finally they told me that "Moxy" next door would honor parking and i could park right across the street. I walked to moxy only to find out that is not the case and they charge $11 and its valet only so they areetting me park in front of their building until i pack up and then they will valet until tomorrow morning. If i wasnt so tired i would leave today and demand my money back. #compactcarsonly!!

11/6- I travel for work and I have stayed here before during off season and it is georgous. The balcony views in every room are perfect. The beds are clean and comfortable (which staying in many hotels frequently... matters!) I drive a service van and since it cannot fit in a parking deck there is limited parking here for taller vehicles. STILL... everytime they find me a place out front to park. Tonight it was Angela at the fro t desk and she really took care of me. She also made sure someone came and fixed my tv (since i will be here a couple days (and I NEED NETFLIX!! ) and even personally brought me the foam pillows i asked for after hours. I always feel comfortable and safe when I stay here. Angela really saved my night!!”

“I arrived at Bowlero with my girlfriend and her Hall Honda crew, expecting an evening of clichéd neon lights and clattering pins—a predictable amusement that, while fun, rarely transcends into anything memorable. Yet, what I encountered was an unexpected delight, a communal celebration of joy that swept me off my feet. The lanes glowed in vibrant hues, pulling us into a world where the trivialities of life were bowled away with every roll. Strikes, gutter balls, and the inevitable playful banter flowed naturally, a symphony of small victories and laughter that filled the space. My girlfriend bowled with a mix of grace and determination, her smile reflecting the simple magic of a night spent in good company.

The Hall Honda crew added their spirited energy to the scene, transforming each frame into a jubilant moment. It was the kind of carefree competition that made every throw of the ball a celebration, and every cheer an affirmation of our collective joy. Bowlero, with its unpretentious charm, may not boast refined indulgence, but its promise lies elsewhere—inviting all to revel in the game, to lose themselves in the sound of rolling balls and shared laughter. And for that, I shall gladly return. Not for the allure of the pins themselves, but for the warm glow of those moments shared among friends, when life feels uncomplicated and wholly delightful.”

“I can’t say enough good things about the staff here! I was there for a week, and I didn’t come across a single employee who wasn’t kind and friendly, and they were fantastic all-around! They set the bar high. We were traveling with pets, so the pet accommodation was a big deal for us. I’m assuming we got a pet-friendly room, but I could tell they did a good cleaning after previous pet guests, as there were no signs of pets in the room. I was also so pleased that they gave us a room on the first floor when I asked for it at check-in. The process of checking in and out was smooth and easy. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and quiet. It was a queen suite with a full-sized refrigerator, countertop range, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, ice maker, utensils, etc. The bathroom included full sized bottles of Dove Daily Moisture shampoo and conditioner and Dove handwash, plus a hairdryer. There’s plenty of space outside to walk your pets, plus a pet cleanup station. There’s also a patio with a grill in the back, and the staff even hosted a burger and hotdog cookout one night and socialized with guests. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the area, especially if you have pets.

“Best kept secret. Clean and well maintained. Seems to recently have received a proper face lift... not simply a coat of paint. Paint, flooring, fixtures, linens, furniture. Clean lines, good space, clean accommodations.”

“Went there last week with my kid, even though some of the games don't work the nice guy at the counter wasted no time to refund us credits and fixed the game. It's a nice little spot for the kids”
