The Virginia Beach SPCA is an amazing and humane organization with a very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. The entire team is sweet, helpful, pleasant, and easy to work with, demonstrating they are definitely in the right field. The facility is very clean and well-maintained.
People have had positive experiences adopting several pets, especially older ones, and report lasting happiness. The on-site clinic is considered a godsend, providing quality veterinary care including surgeries like neutering, where pets recover very well. The associated Neuter Scooter service also offers reasonable pricing and quick, courteous service with quality advice.
The staff is thorough in explaining costs and processes, never making clients feel rushed even when busy. From check-in to pick-up, they are thankful, compassionate, and lovely to talk to, creating the most positive experience for both people and their pets. The Virginia Beach SPCA is highly recommended as a trusted and passionate resource for the community.

I had a great experience getting my dog neutered with the mobile clinic. The vet tech that helped me was so sweet and I believe my pup was in great hands. I was looking for a lower cost option vs. scheduling with his regular veterinary (who I love!) since the cost difference was substantial.
