“Just routine state inspection this time but still the same outstanding service I’ve always gotten! Cardinal Shell is our neighborhood go-to spot for great reasonably priced service. They are key to keeping my 20+ year old vehicles in tip top shape! Many thanks and keep up the great service! My 23 yr old CR-V needed annual safety inspection. They found a couple items that needed fixing. Cardinal got me scheduled quickly and were able to reschedule when a last minute change was needed. Service was quick and expert as always despite hot & humid weather. Saved my bacon again! Thanks for the great experience!”

“We didn't get any work done on the our car today, but we did survive a near-death experience. There was a spider. Inside the car. On the windshield. Directly above my face. My daughters (and me) immediately started screaming like we were being actively hunted for sport. I pulled into this Shell gas station & we bailed so fast we forgot our shoes & dignity. At that point we were fully prepared to abandon the vehicle. PERMANENTLY. Keys in it, engine running. The car belonged to the spider now. Instead, we ran over to two mechanics that were clearly busy, begging for help like we had absolutely exhausted all other options (we had not). One of them stepped in immediately, while the other stood there in obvious agreement that this was, in fact, an emergency. Spider eliminated crisis averted. The girls barely held it together while I, of course, was the picture of maturity. We thanked them like they had just saved our lives (they did), and our valiant hero just casually went back to work like he didn't just perform a heroic act for free on a random Thursday. We didn’t go there for work done or for gas, but somehow still ended up living to tell the tale. Shout out to our very brave heroes! Thank you!”

“We have been going to Caton’s, a family-owned business for over 25-years and with good reason, highly competent mechanics who will fix the problem the first time correctly. This establishment is the epitome of old-school customer service who prioritize quality-of- work. You will be treated fairly, and unlike some chains, they will not attempt to upsell you a service or part that is not needed. They will take the time to clearly explain the issue, repair options and provide a detailed quote. All repairs are verified by the owner or his shop manager. We have never had to take a vehicle back because they failed to resolve the issue. On the one occasion a part failed (manufacturer defect), they replaced it immediately without question. In this day of many businesses prioritizing volume over service and customer loyalty, it is often difficult to find a reliable automotive repair establishment you can trust. Caton’s is that establishment you are looking for. V/r '15 Blue Silverado”

“Strongly recommended by a neighbor. Brought my car to Toyota and was told a problem with a part & suggested to replace for $2600 plus $370 regular maintenance. The part that supposedly needs replacing is priced for $200 at Toyota website. Make that $2600 make sense! Brought my car to K&B for the first time, Tom checked my car, and assured me that there is definitely nothing wrong with my car and didn’t charge me a dime for checking it.”

Alex was kind and caring, even price‑matching the lowest offer and sweetening the deal. Kashee, one of the owners, personally drove me home and test‑drove my car, asking thoughtful questions about its issues. Honest, personable, and professional—this team truly surprised me in the best way. Highly recommend!”

“I’ve been taking my vehicles to Commonwealth Garage Inc. for years, and Raul has always provided excellent service. He’s honest, knowledgeable, and does quality work at a fair price. He takes the time to explain repairs and never pressures you into unnecessary work. What really sets Raul apart is that he stands behind his work and the parts he sells. I bought tires and a battery from him, and when the battery failed during the warranty period, he handled the claim and got it replaced for free with no hassle. Reliable, trustworthy, and reasonably priced—I highly recommend Raul at Commonwealth Garage Inc.”

“We have started coming to MyTech automotive on the recommendation of a friend and have had nothing but great experiences. We have been coming here for about a year with our two vehicles. Wayne and his crew are honest, caring and highly skilled in the work they do. I feel 100% comfortable in asking if work needs to be done or can be held off for a while and expecting an honest answer. They are quick and reliable while continually doing an excellent job, and are patient in answering your questions to make sure you understand and are comfortable in the work being done every step of the way. Wayne took time out of his busy day to help my teen assess a used car to see if it was worth buying, and showed him all the reasons why he didn’t recommend it, along with things to look for when car shopping. They are just great people doing excellent. I highly recommend MyTech.”

“We started going to Premiere Auto 10 years ago because the owner is our son's friend's brother. We stayed with Premiere because Eric and his crew does top notch work at very fair and reasonable prices. On our recommendation, our entire extended family and many of our friends take their cars to Premiere as well. None of us has ever had a problem and are very happy to refer the shop to others! “Fairfax Auto Repair has exceeded my expectations. I had to drive out of state for a family emergency, and I was concerned about a timing belt that was cracked but still functional. I called Fairfax Auto the day before I had to leave to replace the belt so that I wouldn't be stuck on the highway if it broke. Fairfax Auto ordered the belt that morning and called me when it arrived. They replaced the belt while I waited, and I was able to drive 500 miles in a day without worrying about my car. I will only use Fairfax Auto Repair for my car repairs. I trust them completely. They do great work and are reasonably priced. They are close to where I live. Great place and great work.”

“I have an older vehicle that needed maintenance in order to pass the Virginia state safety inspection so I could get it registered. Metro Motors inspected my vehicle, clearly explained the services that were required, and offered a fair price, lower than what a previous repair shop had quoted me. The staff was courteous and professional throughout the process. If I ever need vehicle repairs in the future, I will definitely return.”
