Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is a nonprofit organization that has been serving local communities since 1923. The organization is dedicated to changing lives through the power of work, empowering individuals, strengthening families, and building prosperous communities. By donating, shopping, or exploring job opportunities with Goodwill, individuals can support essential job training and employment services for people facing barriers to work. Customers have generally positive experiences at Goodwill stores in the area. The stores are described as well-organized and modern, with a variety of items available at reasonable prices. Additionally, there are instances where customers feel that certain items are overpriced compared to their retail value. Overall, Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seen as a valuable resource for the community, providing job opportunities and affordable shopping options.
I have bought most of my clothes, accessories, furniture, toys and housewares at Goodwill for years. The only thing I don't like in recent years is that clothes are no longer arranged by size. This makes finding my size very time consuming.
