Howard Johnson by Wyndham Williamsburg is a clean, comfortable, and basic hotel. The rooms are great, clean, and comfortable, with very comfortable chairs in seating areas. Bathtubs are huge with great water pressure, and the jacuzzis are massive and very cozy. The staff is very professional, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location is great with food and stores very close by, offering good walkability. The hotel has an indoor pool that is very clean and nice. Guests feel very safe. Some minor issues noted are the entrance being slightly difficult to find, occasional non-working ice machines, very slow bathroom sink water pressure, no working phones in rooms, and slower hot water on higher floors. The common areas could use improvement. Despite this, many guests report a great experience and state they will stay again.
Nice budget friendly hotel near colonial Williamsburg and Busch gardens. The pool was clean the staff was friendly.

Don't expect much for the price. Hotel was not the cleanest place. Very noisy at night. You get what you pay for Don't expect much.

Pretty good experience overall. Had a hot tub in the room, there was a gross smell when we got there, but I think it was just someone’s leftover food, which then went away. If you want a pool, this one isn’t very big. I wouldn’t bring my kids here, but for me and my other half it was fine.
