“Superb in every way. We were there for a Saturday evening, used the gym, and had a late breakfast. Our room was immaculate and luxurious and the bathroom beyond compare.”

“Our check in time was 4pm and the room was not ready until 5pm. The receptionist at the front desk did give us a voucher to eat at the onsite restaurant. Also, I went to the dunking donuts in the great wolf lodge in Williamsburg and I ask the cashier for a decaf hot coffee. She gave me regular coffee. I asked for a decaf because I can't have regular coffee since I have an autoimmune disease.”

“My family and I stayed here during Spring Break. The villas are updated, clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The hotel is located in a quiet, gated community. It is very close to all of the attractions in Williamsburg. The villa has lots of space for our family of four. We enjoyed the fireplace, balcony, and large rooms. My children enjoyed the activities center and the indoor pool. We will definitely return. I would have given the hotel 5 stars, but housekeeping came in one day and took all of the wash cloths and bath mats without replacing them, and we had to ask for them to bring more.”

“We rented the entire Manor for a family gathering. It exceeded expectations in all ways. The rooms were private and comfortable as were the common areas. The breakfast was superb. And.. we were able to use the kitchen to entertain guests staying elsewhere. The kitchen is very well equipped and anything we needed beyond what was supplied was available.Part of what we were looking for in a rental was reasonable access to Colonial Williamsburg. The easy 10 minute walk to town as well as it being adjacent to William and Mary campus gilded the lily for us. Our cars were mostly parked for the whole time we stayed.Laura and staff were welcoming and made many extra efforts on our behalf. We cannot recommend a place more highly.Rooms: Clean, well-appointed, super-comfy beds—even the fold-out for one of our little ones!Nearby activities: Proximity to William and Mary’s campus, Williamsburg’s sweet downtown, and Colonial Williamsburg. Plus handy to grocery shopping that we needed for our event.Walkability: We walked to CW, strolled around the college campus, stopped for lunch at Cheese Shop without having to hop in our cars, which we could park near the Manor.”

“We love this place! We have visited multiple times and probably sampled all of their wine. The scenery is beautiful and the area can hold multiple events (wedding, party, get to gather, winery events, etc.) The tours are top notch as well. They take you through out the buildings, winery process, and history. The tastings are affordable and delicious with a bit of history as well. I love coming here and recommend this place for any wine lover. The Adagio is by far my favorite!”

“This is located in a great spot to access all the historical stuff around Williamsburg VA. The service was excellent and the rooms were very nice. We loved the putt putt, fishing, volleyball on site but the indoor pool lacks in the ambiance and odors department.Safety: Very safe location and environment.”

“Great location, easy access to colonial williamsburg, restaurants, event, stores and everything else. The staff was very welcoming, I do like the amenities and all the complimentary stuff the hotel provides. The room was clean, organized and spacious enough for a family of 4. Besides the qeen beds, the room had a sofa bed wish my kids enjoyed.”

“Great place. The breakfast cook had no eggs, no oatmeal for the entire 25 minutes we waited. At 7am. Clean hotel. Nice front desk staff. One bad egg ruined our visit. ”

You can't beat the location right across the street from the old town. Loved it.Rooms: Rooms were very comfortable, and there was plenty of space with all amenities. Full kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Washer and dryer.Safety: Felt very safe and secure.Walkability: It's very close to Colonial Williamsburg and the shop area.”

“Located in the middle of everything. Great location. You can hear the horse and carriage on the street. You can see up and down Duke of Gloucester St. It is very nice to take a walk around the colonial area at night. I have also stayed in the Chiswell Bucktrout House and the location of the Market Square Tavern Room is MUCH better. Staff at the Williamsburg Inn are always top notch. Rooms are a bit quirky and that is too be expected but the shower in the room was a bit too much.”

“Amazing experience on beautiful grounds. The staff was very kind and accommodating, and although it’s more of an”luxury” resort, the price was fair- half of the cost per night of a competing resort I viewed. The breakfast was amazing and the staff again at their lobby “restaurant” Elements was amazing. Right down the road from bush gardens and it looked like interconnecting condos/units was possible although I did not need or purchase that option. Very spacey, I’d estimate about 1200 square feet or slightly more with a full kitchen, living room, dining room, and separate area for the bedroom.”

“Great staff, location was central to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg/William and Mary. Hotel is a little dated and water pressure in the shower was pretty weak but everything seemed clean and I liked being able to open the slider door (with screen) to the little balcony to get some air flowing. Desk and sofa were fine. Had no issues and would stay again but they're probably about due for a room refresh.”

“Clean motel in a good location, you can walk to colonial Williamsburg from here in less than 10 minutes. The rooms are a bit dated but clean. For the price it's totally acceptable. My biggest complaint is probably the breakfast, which is very bare-bones. There's only oatmeal, cereal, and mini donuts (no toast, bagles, yogurt, juice, etc that you'd typically expect).Nearby activities: Walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg.”

“My apartment isn't available, so I am staying at Red Roof Inn Williamsburg. I must say, I have never been in a hotel that makes you feel like you are the most important person there. The staff is incredible. They are so nice, and always asking if there's anything else I need.My apartment isn't available for another week, so I extended my stay. Thank you, Red Roof Inn, in Williamsburg.”

“Wonderful and helpful staff. Room was immaculate and set up perfectly.Had a minor problem with bathroom door knob that was fixed immediately. They are working to renew the rooms for even better experiences. The only reason it's not a five star place is the poor excuse for breakfast.Hot food marginal.Pitcher of sour milk? What's with that.Water cooler out of water. There is a pool but did not try it.Location is only 10 minutes from colonial Williamsburg. It's only 20 minutes from either Jamestown or Yorktown. So close to being an outstanding best western.Rooms: Well appointed and clean.Nearby activities: So much history with 29 minutes you could spend a week here and not see it all.”

“Not really sure why this hotel has such poor reviews. Our stay was very nice and had no issues! They are renovating the hotel, but that didn't affect us. WiFi works fine, plenty of hot water, staff was friendly. Haven't had breakfast, but that's really not why we're here.Rooms: Clean rooms, very functional.”

“I absolutely love this hotel! A little dated but they're improving every year with renovations. Staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming. The historic significance, as well as, fireplaces and beautiful scenery are inviting. My favorite V.A. hotel on a budget for sure.”

“My husband and I stayed here the staff from the front desk to housekeeping was very professional and accommodating. I tipped the housekeepers a couple of dollars when I could. The hotel is old so of course there are some updates that need to be made that’s to be expected (historic) and the elevator is on its last leg also they need microwaves and refrigerators in the room. Other than that it was a very pleasant place.”

“The best thing about this hotel is the wonderful staff. Every single person I interacted with during my stay seemed to enjoy working there and serving guests. The piano in the lobby is a great addition. Room was clean and comfortable.”

“The absolute worst hotel I've ever been to. Me and my kids didn't even stay. I've never left a hotel so fast in my life. Thin walls so u could hear ppl talking in the next room. I didn't feel safe and it was dirty. Any review above a 1 is a lie and they were probably paid to give that ”
