The Prentis Store showcases 18th-century gifts and goods, including handcrafted leather goods, iron hardware, and Native American crafts. The store is located in an old building from the 1740's. It offers a wide selection of merchandise, including items made in Colonial Williamsburg by trades people. The store carries special items and a variety of wares, making it worth visiting to find unique goods.
We liked the Prentis Store and the wide selection of merchandise. The old building is great and one of the original buildings from the 1740’s. It’s fun shopping in the same building our Founding Fathers may have also frequented. The lady behind the counter was not very friendly, but all else was great.

I love how this gift shop carries things that are made right in Colonial Williamsburg by the various trades people. There are also a number of special items that compliment locally made.

We really enjoyed looking thru this store. Everything in the store isn't made in Colonial Williamsburg, but enough of the items are that we've were able to find a few things we really wanted. It's worth going in to see the wares available.
