The Winchester/Frederick County Costco made a very generous donation to the Kare4Kidz Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity that provides coats, boots, warm clothes, and holiday gifts to underprivileged kids who otherwise would go without. Despite all the other charities Costco supports in the community, they still helped our group with a generous donation to help us provide some of their wonderful and high qualify warm socks, coats, and sweatshirts, along with affordable and terrific STEM toys to the children to help them learn while being entertained. We were overwhelmed with applicants this year, and we very much appreciate Costco's help in providing us with some truly wonderful gifts for the children.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall Four of us ate at the Costco Food Court in Winchester for less than $7 total. Each of us got a hot dog and a drink. Seriously, where can four people eat for less than $7 anymore? The famous Costco hot dog deal is hard to beat. ⭐ The hot dogs were good, filling, and an absolutely ridiculous value for the money. At this price, it might be the best food deal east of the Pecos. Four people fed for less than the price of one fast food combo at a lot of places. ⭐ This is where Costco could improve. Ordering is primarily through the digital kiosks, and my elderly father needed help using the system. Not everyone is comfortable with digital ordering, and there really should be someone available to assist older customers or anyone else who has trouble with the kiosks. ⭐ The atmosphere was Class M, with the standard breathable mix of approximately 78 percent nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen, 0.9 percent argon, 0.04 percent carbon dioxide, trace gases, and the unmistakable aroma of hot dogs, mustard, and Costco bargains. The seating area could definitely be better. It needed more seating and more attention from cleaning staff. With the amount of traffic this food court handles, tables and the surrounding area need to be cleaned more frequently. For the food and value, though, it is almost impossible to complain. Four hot dogs, four drinks, four people, less than $7. In 2026, that sounds less like lunch and more like a pricing error. I would absolutely eat here again. :::”

“Usually is lowest price for practically everything. I especially like the gas prices, sometimes as much as $.25 per gallon cheaper than most gas stations. Tip: Tues-Wed-Thurs are the best time to come, especially before 11am. Tip: always ask for a box to load the food into as they don't offer grocery bags .”

Sam's Club, the Walmart-owned warehouse retailer, announced it's launching pizza delivery nationwide, bringing its popular $8.98 Member's Mark 16-inch Hot Baked Pizza straight to customers' doorsteps. By the end of May, all Sam's Club members can order the oversized pies for express delivery through the retailer's app or website.
