“I've been coming to this Simmons market off and on for a very long time. When I lived in North Carolina before I moved to Roanoke I used to come here when I was in the area. It used to be called "Buzz in" Some people are still writing reviews for Buzz In instead of writing reviews here.This place is very convenient and the staff are nice. There's one little kid that another reviewer mentioned named "Cj" who works here. He's got all kinds of tattoos. I haven't seen him lately here but hes weird. Just ignore him if he talks to you.. I came in one time and he asked if I had a girlfriend and I told him I was married. He replied "I doubt that.." then told me "show me your wife's picture". I told him I didn't have my wife's picture on my phone and he laughed and asked "You're lying, aren't you". I just ignored him after he handed me my change and walked out. Cj is one of the weirdest kids I've ever met. That's one really farrrrrrr out kid doubting someone he doesn't even know has a wife.... He would doubt anything if he would doubt I have a wife when he don't even know me. He's probably some kind of conspiracy theorist or something.”
“This is a neat little family run gas station. Prices are much cheaper than name brands down the street. This place is filled to the brim with food, produce, equipment and more for your day to day travel needs. Staff are great and friendly. It is clean. I am an infrequent shopper, but you should be a frequent one!
Highly recommend”

“This gas station has personality. Not only does it have the usual gas station items, it also has alot of homemade items. Candies, muffins, a deli inside. I didn't eat there but it smelt delicious. Hand dipped ice cream and items youd find at a gift shop. They even decorated with a moonshine still. What's not to like?”
“I've come here for gas on and off for the past several years for family trips out of town. Never a wait, never any problem with the pumps, and Krogers are typically one of the better priced gas stations anywhere around. Never had an interaction with an employee, but it doesn't speak for the bad service. I've just been fortunate enough to not have to bother them”
“Parked here overnight. I asked a very friendly young man (Greg) if I needed to purchase fuel as the sign said for fuel customers only. He said just be neat and park the truck facing the highway. I bought a carton of smokes just to be fair.
Us drivers need to be more respectful of places that we utilize, we need to be neat and respectful to deserve respect back. Let’s not mess it up with places like this Mom&Pop.”

“This company is amazing. New to the area and having propane gas at our home. Called, Ladies at the office walked me thru what needed to be done. Set up the service call to check all the lines before service could start. Randall came out walked us thru everything, explained all lines and the different services Redwood offers. We will definitely be reaching out this fall to change our logs in our fire places and this summer having a line put in for our grill. Thanks for the great customer service!”
“This gas station has a little something for everyone. The store sells most things you would find at a gas station. There is also a Bogangles, and Dairy Queen inside. A nice little dining area to eat at. Drink and coffee stations which are usually clean. Bathroom also clean, and most everytime that Ive stopped there a guy cleaning the parking lot. If youre traveling 220 North its a great place to stop. A little bit of warning. The store is usually busy and parking lot can get hectic.”

“I go in this store every morning on my way to work and any other time I need to go into a convenience store because it’s right up the street from my house. The owner is always very friendly and accommodating. There has been times where I have asked for something in particular that he didn’t have and he has written it down for me and ordered it so he would have it in the future. He has also allowed me to get what I needed and owe him until the next day in circumstances where I forgot my wallet, etc. Couldn’t ask for a better store around the corner from home. Thanks Victor!”

“Last minute stop in not long ago...i was dying for Chocolate milk. Ran in, gran a half gallon, paid and ran out. Couldn't wait to get home to have some. My dog was in my lap and insisting on driving so I had no choice. He and I bolt in the house and before I even to ale off his leash I crack that baby open. Yuuum... my favorite... no..no...what the #+"* is this thiiiis.... I'm vomiting immediately and confused nonetheless. That's when it hit me~you didn't check the date dumb@$$. It was a week and 2 days over the date. Eeeek. Sheew. Yes people I know...I shouldve checked the date but I was negligent.... You would think you could trust places of business not to sell something like that in the first place. But, then again... All humans make mistakes. Especially me, even you. Just check the date yourself, have a great day. ?”

“I love the place I go in an every time a the workers are great not to give any names out but there’s 1 worker that aways ring up my stuff and she does so amazing at her job. An when I go in the back to get stuff it’s aways clean floors. The machines aways work a they are clean. The stocking on the shelf are amazing”
