“This boutique hotel is so unexpected and such a great value. The entire theme of Edith Bolling Wilson, first lady of the 28th president of the United States, is so well done. Her love of orchids, bourbon and canaries is obvious with the choice of art work, the hotel restaurant, and the rooftop lounge (The Perch in honor of her love of canaries) The wonderfully scented shower gel that is provided, and shampoo and conditioner makes it so convenient to pack lightly. Keurig coffee machines in each room and views of the Blue Ridge Parkway only adds to the specialness. Exceptionally clean and and amazing walkable town. One of my favorite places to stay!”

“This hotel went from "ok" to " top notch" when the new management took over. The breakfast area is open pretty much all the time, they have fruit, juice, tea and coffee available free. Staff is very friendly and do everything to make you happy. Love staying here during road trips.”

“Night shift front desk guy was super nice and professional. The room was large but it wasnt super clean. Found some hair in the ead and bathroom and bathroom caulk around the tub was dirty. Breakfast was good for the price of the room. The bed sheets didnt smell of anything I assume/ hope either the room wasnt used for a while or the detergent they use was scent free.”

“My husband and I were traveling to visit family for Thanksgiving and stayed for one night. We found this hotel clean and the staff was friendly. Check-in was efficient. The room we booked was well laid out and was comfortable. It was divided into a seating area with a small sleeper couch, lounge chair, desk (and comfortable desk chair), and TV, and a bedroom area also had a TV as well as a king bed. The bed was comfortable, which is always an issue for my husband when we stay at hotels. The Internet was fine. The bathroom had plenty of space for toiletries and was clean.Free breakfast was included and offered enough hot and cold variety. The breakfast room staff was attentive to refilling all trays. The coffee was hot and good.Wytheville is the midpoint in our travels to visit family for holidays. We will continue to consider this hotel for future trips since it is convenient from the highway and meets our needs for a short-term stay.”
