OVERPRICING and cashiers change price! If you charge me more because items I found were not in the right areas please train the staff to put the clothing in the right section instead of charging me more. Today I went and bought kids shorts and an active jacket. I found the shorts in the kids section and the jacket in the activity section witch listed the
Isles price as 2.99 & 5.99. When I checked out the lady rang the shorts up as 5.99 witch I then said they were kids. she then protested that they weren’t and if I wanted to put them back. then the same thing with the jacket, she rang me up at 8.99 witch I then said was incorrect. She then condescendingly asked if I’ll be putting the items back then. Which is rude. I paid but I told her it’s really not the customer fault for the staff putting items in the wrong places. The shorts I got were clearly kids sized and It really upsets me as a student on a budget getting charged more for things that were in there right category..

Prices have gotten relatively high and it’s getting harder to find value at a reasonable price.

Cashier was illiterate. She kept overcharging me for my items. No one greeted the customers or offered assistance. Instead, they
pushed people out of the was as they were attempting to put out items. Much of the clothing smelled dirty. The floors were dirty and needed mopping.

If you call asking for items they won't go looking for you.

Store is closed on Sunday, but Google hours show it is open. It is only open for donations.

Goodwills are my favorite places to go. This Goodwill located in Yorktown Virginia on George Washington Memorial Highway is pretty good. The quality of their items has gone down in recent months, which is disappointing but at times you can find really good items. I love the Goodwill has extended their hours to 8 PM. I just wish they were open on Sundays. Being closed on Sundays is really inconvenient because the weekend is really when most people have time to visit retail stores. Overall this location is pretty clean and for the most part organized. Just wish they kept the quality of items placed in the store higher like they used to.

The Yorktown location has always had a great selection of women's clothes. I walk out with a big bag or two when I go with the intention of looking through all of the racks. I have always wished that Goodwill organized by size instead of color so that the time I spend looking wouldn't take as long. I am always impressed with the amount of brand name items, often with tags still attached, that I find. The housewares and book section has been lacking during the past few years. I used to find lots of books, especially cookbooks, and now there's only a few small shelves worth with typically no cookbooks.

Pretty cool. Never been to this location. Found a cool t-shirt and a nice fake suede brown sports coat. Very cool!

I have been shopping and dropping off donations at this Goodwill location for years and more frequently over the past year/continuing into this year - I have been doing more drop offs at the donation site than any actual shopping inside (though that’s always been a great place for finding some good deals on awesome stuff so I def recommend checking them out too!) but just due to the fact we are trying to downsize and make some space - donations only of late ?That said - I would like to comment that every time I stop by with more donations out front of the donation center - I am always pleasantly greeted and assisted with unloading my donations.Martinez in particular is often there when I chance to drop by with more donations and I’d like to share that he is always so very kind and helpful! Thank you so much!

My husband and I arrive at the Goodwill in Roswell, NM store to find an ambulance by the front door. Expecting to see a medical intervention when we walked in only to find the two EMT women getting a shopping fix in the shoe department. Most items in the store were overpriced clothing. Women's pullover tops ran $8.99 and a wooden spoon was $1.99. Home goods rows and shelves could've been combined into one shelf. Checkout line was 6 transactions long with one checker. Atmosphere in the store was depressing.
