Harold's Market is a terrific local convenience store in Anacortes, described as one of "the greats." It is a nice, clean, and well-organized "Mom and Pop" store, nicer than most chains. Reviewers highlight the very friendly, welcoming, courteous, and helpful staff. The store is known for having the cheapest gas in the state and fairly priced merchandise. It is a great little stop, especially on the way to Deception Pass Bridge. For dessert, it offers the best soft serve ever and delicious, locally made ice cream bars. Customers agree they would be regulars if they lived in the area.
Passing by on a work trip, so I stopped for a couple of things. Cute little store but what made it stand out was how nice the girl at the register was. Little everyday interactions and how we treat people matters so much more than we realize. 😊
