The Anderson Island General Store is a cute little convenience store that has everything you want, from snacks and toiletries to sandwiches, bakery items, deli, alcohol, books, and the essentials. Chances are good that if you need it, they have it, including fresh produce, firewood, and even fishing worms. It is a clean store with good fair prices and very helpful staff. The convenience is worth it. Visitors should try their daily, freshly made soups and daily specials, which are seriously wonderful with 5 Star Michelin quality. The store is usually really busy in the summer with tourism, and it is a neat little spot that totally comes in clutch while on the island.

Chances are good that if you need it, they have it. Yes, it's a little pricier than off-island. Get over it. The convenience is worth it.
