This is a pretty shopping center where you can find everything fresh. It has very large parking lots for any types of vehicles. There is available a beautiful garden with verity lovely flowers.

I've been shopping at the University Place Fred Meyer since it opened. Here's what I can tell you.... I can't stand Safeway, and with Albertsons closing many moons ago, Freddys is the place where I shop. It's definitely a love/ hate relationship with this store. I do appreciate the multiple stores within a store. It's close by for a bag of screws or chlorine for the pool. Occasionally, clothing. Food prices are decent, and the checkers have gotten faster in the years, but less friendly. Doesn't matter, as I always do self checkout because I'm a bit anal about how my groceries get bagged. And, I haven't missed black Friday in 15 years. Always get socks, used to get Nerf guns, but luckily, the kid has outgrown those. And, my favorite, coffee and doughnuts. Except during Covid, cuz Covid ruined everything.
And now for the not so good... way too many aisle displays. I can't tell you how many times I feel like I'm sitting in rush hour traffic due to one person blocking the solo route through the aisle display. The aisles are simply too narrow. 2nd, and kind of has to do with small aisles....the staff fulfilling online orders. I simply do not understand this. I get it, convenience for those too busy to shop. However, these carts are so big, and they are many times parked in the middle of an aisle. You can't get around. Some of them are nice and will move, but most make you feel like you are in the wrong for trying to take your shopping cart down the aisles. Rude! Can't you do overnight orders and stop clogging the aisles? Finally, the new store layout is stupid at best. I'm not sure who's clever idea it was to put alcohol in the back of the store, completely hidden from view, but did anyone think about shoplifters when making this poor decision. Of course, who gets punished? The shopper who has to find a store clerk with a key to open the cabinet. And, the separating general merchandise from one side of the store to the other. Can't tell you how many times I have skipped buying something because I was discouraged having to walk across the entire store for one item I forgot.
Other than that, a few shout-outs to staff. One lady, who mostly works self checkout, has seen me in the store since my kiddo was a baby, and he's 16 now. She never misses a chance to ask how he's doing when I see her. Now that's customer service!! And, the lady who works in general merchandise and wears the funny hats. Nothing but bending over backward to help a customer. Both should be commended!

Love waiting in the line at self check to get into another line to wait to get my cart and receipt checked. Open up more registers if you don’t trust shoppers or let them steal food since you closed all the registers. This isn’t Costco there is no Fred Meyer policy that I have to wait for your rent a cop to sign off my receipt. Interesting business plan hopefully it gets better

The customer service line is very long and there is only one employee to help despite the presence of many employees in the place and this is not the first time you may notice this situation every time you come to shop.

Auburn Fred Meyer -absolutely terrible. Poor customer service, major error by the cashier then told me I'd have to go to customer service to get the overcharge fixed. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get my money back with no apology.

As and armed security company owner myself, I don't understand how their armed guard there is so aggressive with asking for receipts, I don't look like a undesirable and neither did my wife. He came after me with his hand on his pistol and that in itself is grounds for self defense on my end. I would not shop here again.

I wish I could show the photo of the rotten onions they sent me yesterday. It's not possible ! I order my pantry there every 2 weeks. The service is NOT CHEAP at all and it is the same problem every time. Believe me, if my health wasn't as bad as it is now, I wouldn't buy ANYTHING there anymore.

Finding its not so exausting to find the products I need. Sighs for isles are neck breaking if you do not read them at least 4 isles away.please make lower sighs for products Thank you so much for all the great services you do everyday.
