They have a great variety of books, a large kids section along with events like book clubs, children's story readings on the weekends, author signings, and fun deals around some holidays or special events. They also provide free gift wrapping, and offer to send books and gift cards to anyone in the United States on your behalf!

“Best used and new bookstore I've ever visited! Pegasus is where I go anytime I'm moving on to my next read. No more online or big box book shopping for this household :) They also have the most reasonable and affordable trade-in programs! It actually encourages folks to buy used. The staff are incredible! They know books well -- ask for suggestions! You will not be disappointed. Their location is not convenient for me, but the 25 minute drive is worth it, every time. As long as we live in Seattle, Pegasus is the place we'll shop for books. In fact, I'm going today to get a couple books I have on hold. Thanks, Pegasus!!!”
“We took the ferry to Bainbridge Island from Seattle, and exploring historic Poulsbo (a short 25 minute drive from the ferry terminal) was the best part of our trip! We stumbled upon this store and loved its wonderfully curated selection of books (including sci-fi, mystery, and romance), jewelry, gifts, and (to my husband’s delight), Warhammer! This store seemed MADE for us. Pop into this store after grabbing your Viking Cup cinnamon roll at Sluys - you won’t regret it!”

Their organization is top-notch, featuring clearly labeled sections like New Fiction, a dedicated shelf for Staff Picks, and standalone displays highlighting great monthly selections.
Beyond an incredible variety of books, they have a fantastic curated selection of unique greeting cards, gifts, and bookish puzzles stacked around comfortable seating areas where you can relax. It is exceptionally family-friendly with a wonderful children's and young adult section that the kids loved exploring. The entire space is filled with local charm, making it a must-visit spot to support a phenomenal local business!”

“We drove from Lake Tapps to go to this store for our daughter’s first birthday. After checking Apple Maps, who didn’t have the correct winter hours listed, we were excited. When we got there we discovered they were closed on Tuesdays. My husband called the number listed for package deliveries and spoke to the owner. They were so incredibly generous; enough to come down and open the store for the birthday girl. The kind lady who opened the store was sweet enough to help us find a toy that our daughter utterly loved and made her whole day. I wish we could find a way to thank these guys enough. They made the whole experience magical. Thank you for going out of your way to do something so amazing for Amelia!!!”

My most recent purchase was a pre-order, which was a good thing, because the book was so popular, that the first print run was sold out, except for the ones who had preordered.”
“OMG! i LOVE bo! whenever we set down he RAN into our lab set down and started purring. he wouldn’t leave. i tried to get him off me but he got super mad so we stayed for an hour until he got sick of sitting on me and got up to eat. they also have great books and the staff is really helpful and very nice! if you love cats you HAVE TO GO!”
