“This is such a unique and cool place. There are really random and fun gifts, greeting cards and beautiful trinkets like fridge magnets with whimsical murals on them. Many items from local artists like the talented Crystal Barbre. They used to have these unicorn kitten masks in the window which made me laugh every time I walked by. If you like artsy and different, this is your jam. You can get something unique and support local art. What's not to like? :)”
“This is hands down my favorite store in the Ballard area. The space is beautifully curated, and there truly feels like there’s something for everyone—especially if you love Scandinavian and Japanese design.
The store has such a nice, warm vibe when you walk in, and the big open layout makes browsing easy and enjoyable. It’s usually packed every time I visit, which says a lot, but it never feels overwhelming. I never get tired of stopping in and always leave feeling inspired (and usually with something I didn’t plan on buying ?).”

“Local gem of a women's clothing store. New styles and all sizes in weekly. I bought an outfit for my Mom's birthday, she lives out of state and loved it. The lady serving us is about the same size as my Mom and she kindly tried on the jacket to be sure the fit was right. That's pretty cool! They give you money off your next purchase when you spend a minimum amount. I liked that. Came back again within a couple weeks time to shop for myself and my daughter.”
“This is THE place to get permanent jewelry. She's done 3 for me so far. Also, tons of cute accessories and decor. I picked up 3 cards when she opened early to do a permanent bracelet for my brother's birthday present. Can you say over the top caring and kind service? That's what you get and more here at this cutest shop in Bremerton, maybe Kitsap as a whole.”
“Dylan Everyday Clothing is a cute clothing shop for women, men and kids adjacent to Alair gift shop. In fact, there is a doorway in between the two so you can browse the clothing and gifts and back and forth (and pay for all items on either side). The variety of clothing ranges from PNW casual (so many comfy hoodies) to fancy party attire (at least for women). I love that they stock a wide range of sizes for all body types. They also have some options for shoes and accessories like hats, bags, blankets and sunglasses. For the quality of the clothing brands, the prices are surprisingly reasonable! So many great finds!”
“This store is a gem in Poulsbo! It’s my go-to place for gifts of all sorts: hostess/home, baby, holiday decor, clothing, etc. There is also an array of quality furniture/home furnishings, tastefully displayed. The selection of beautiful and unique women’s clothing and shoes—for a local shop—is unmatched. I have experienced personalized care in finding the right thing to wear for an event, or a selection of coordinated outfits for a trip—Cindy even pulled out lovely choices for me off season for a trip. She can often order what you need if she doesn’t have the right size or color in stock. There is nothing like this in the west sound and beyond.”

“Amazing local store! Employees are friendly and the store it's self has a fun/quirky vibe to it! They also have a wide selection of blind boxes, with the main one being smiskis. And lots of funny pins, stickers, rugs and house furnishings! They also have amazing affordable clothing there as well!
Would highly recommend this store to tourists looking for a fun gift to get someone back home, for someone wanting to try their luck with a blind box or someone just looking for a funny sticker or pin!”
“We discovered Prism when we were exploring Ballard today, and what a great little shop! It had some beautiful jewelry pieces (rings, necklaces and earrings), hair accessories, books and stationery, home decor and gifts, and a curated selection of apparel for men/women.The price point is quite high here - think quality vs quantity - so check the tags to avoid sticker shock at checkout. (For example, some of the “sale” clothes had a retail price of $140-$200+… And some rings were $120-$250.)Prism is definitely a place you could find a unique gift for a close friend or family member that they’d cherish.”
“I recently visited Jan's Dressmaking and Alteration after purchasing two ill-fitting sport coats online. Despite the challenges of my non-standard body type, she managed to make some adjustments to improve the fit, particularly with sleeve length and button placement. While the current jackets are still somewhat loose and sloppy in spots, she suggested ordering custom-fit replacements at a comparable price. Although I could have opted to have the current ones deconstructed for more extensive alterations, the cost wouldn't justify it. I appreciate her expertise and look forward to returning soon to order a new jacket, confident that it will be both reasonably priced and perfectly tailored to my measurements.”

“Love this store! I first discovered it in Queen Anne and have followed them to their Ballard location.
It offers a great, well-curated selection, at reasonable prices. The staff is always welcoming, and I often discover new brands while shopping.
The size of the store is big enough to offer variety while not so big that it feels overwhelming in scale.
I also enjoy donating my nicer, gently-worn clothes to this mission-driven organization as I value the non profits it supports.”

“I went in today to grab some fun Van Halen shirts (love their 80’s rock & roll selection) and had more options than I expected! They had VH sweatshirts in 3 colors and multiple sizes.
I got amazing service trying to find my vintage denim shorts size, which I have learned is a little trickier said than done. Staff were SUPER friendly and helpful and excited to be of assistance.
This place has such a fun blend of western meets rock and roll, their stylists even pulled a few pieces I loved, but as hard as it is when I go in here, I do my best to stick to a budget.
They have great incense too, and I was excited to see they have a new fragrance line since the last time I was in.
THE spot in the city for bolo ties and cowboy boots. I bought a felt hat from them a few years ago that is still in amazing shape. Great quality!”
