“Nice small local grocery store with a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Bakery is wonderful, my go to place for hard to find Asian food items, and vegetarian food options. Very friendly staff.”
“LOVE this place! The selection of spirits and wine is absolutely insane. The beer selection is even halfway decent. The weekly tastings are 100% worth it because you get to actually try some of the spirits that you may have been unsure about buying because you didn’t know if you were going to enjoy them or not.”
“Overall a pretty good assortment, they have the classic standbys represented and good modern choices if you’re looking for something special. Their rum selection is small, but they have some really good options and I’m always a little surprised by what I find.”

“This store has some great mermaid items, Wine glasses and accessories, and meat and cheese dishes, along with some delicious jams, and smoked fish and cheese. I bought an apple cider and fig jam, 3 smoked fishes and 2 cheeses.”
“Been coming here for a few years and the new owners are a delight! Dropped in to check out the new space and left with a wine I adore. So glad to have people in the community who understand the island-time neighborly West Seattle culture.”
“Absolutely a must stop in the area!
Molly and Little Dud were the best part of our day traveling from Seattle to the Marysville to see family for a long weekend.
Highly recommended
5 Stars! All the way
Hope you get to see / meet “little Dude”
Made our day!
Thank you Molly”
“Had the pleasure of meeting and working with Kess here at this location. Her suggestion have been spot on and her knowledge is vast, I go to this location specifically because of her. Thank you Kess, my Clients and i appreciate your suggestions. I will be back.”
“Neighborhood bar that looks like a mini mart on the outside. ?
A neighborhood gem hidden in plain sight. This place checks all the boxes.
✅ Microbrews/Beers on tap
✅ Warm food
✅ Pet friendly
✅ Kid friendly
✅ friendly and helpful staff
I stumbled in on this place in search of a decent sandwich in the neighborhood and was surprised that it is a gem hidden in plain sight. A 3rd place, a place of community and gathering. Not just A place to get a scratch ticket, a pack of smokes and cans of beer. Not your typical mini mart. A welcome place for parents or puppy parents to drink craft beer, play cards or watch a game on the many TV’s
Theres plenty of tables and social space to make new friends or connect with old neighbors. Don’t expect a crappy gas station sandwich here. They have a great selection of hot and cold and snacks are a plenty here. They carry plenty wine, sake, and cigars too. Benches and seating outside in addition to all the seating inside.
Always get your sandwich on a hoagie. And they can heat up your sando if you ask. The staff are easy going and friendly. Great at remembering names. The sandwich was so good i got a second one to go. Prices are very reasonable. I saw posters that they have an open mic night once a month here which is pretty cool. I heard they do an anniversary party every year with the owners and also theres times thy close the larking lot and do a mini block party.
I will definitely be back in the neighborhood and i am so happy i found a nice hidden sandwich shop/tap beer, puppy friendly/ social game space! Theres more than meet the eye here.”

“What a find. They have a fantastic selection of beers. Lots of Russian River. They’re so friendly. There’s a little beer garden space out front but you can also have a drink inside. We stopped in because we had time to kill before a dinner reservation. So glad we found it.”
“We feel so lucky to live within walking distance of this quaint local treasure. Nancy has an incredible eye for unique finds and, hands down, the best wine selection in the area. While we definitely have our 'staple' favorites, her rotating stock always gives us something new and exciting to discover. We especially love the wine club; the regional themes are a fun way to travel the world from your living room. Nancy herself is the heart of the shop—she remembers your preferences and greets you with such genuine warmth. It’s more than just a shop; it’s a staple of our community.”
“What a fun little place to explore!
Yes, they have an incredible selection of licorice and beer, but there's so much more.
I come for the variety of jellies and jams. This time I picked up cloudberry jam!
My husband appreciates the wide selection of sardines, kippers, oysters, and more.
My grandson, who has Celiac disease, loves that he can find great gluten free snacks.
And because the market is within walking distant to the marina, they carry basic groceries and supplies.
It's an eclectic offering, and a fun little place to roam around.
But be warned. It will be hard to leave without buying some delicious item you never heard of before!”
“Large assortment of liquors and wines. Reasonable prices (WA taxes not withstanding). Knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Staff is willing to pour samples of inventory that is available and try to order specialty items.”

“They always make sure to take care and keep supplies on hand. If they don't have what you need they make sure to get your products. Family business that always has a kind word and does there best for their customers.”

“Fuel without the taxes and tobacco as well. Sandwiches and deli food. Large selection of items in the convenience store. Helpful and efficient staff. I always make a stop when in the area. Right down the street from Clearwater Casino. Stop by. I give it 5 ?????”
“They have the best selection of candy in West Seattle and the guy that works there in the evenings everytime I ever go in there is the nicest and most helpful ever. I actually wish I lived closer so I could go there more often because of how great he is and how awesome the candy selection is. Lol”
“Today in late afternoon I shopped. While self-checking-out 4 items I needed assistance 3 times. It was very graciously provided by a young man, tall, stocky, very long black hair. Afterward he ran after me to return the $20 bill I had left in the machine. Talk about excellent staff---Thx, Mick Clark”
“Nice grocery store. Good soup selection. As always, seafood soups -Cioppino and Clam Chowder- are located in the seafood section, separate from other soups. I couldn't find an indoor seating area, looks like they just have a few picnic tables outside by the main road.”
“I was there 2 weeks ago and after reading the horrible things said I thought i should put in my experience. They were really nice and since it was my first time in the store i was unfamiliar with the layout. I told them what items i was looking for and they showed me everything. I told them that before I bought i needed to compare prices as I was on a budget and they gave me the space to do it . I didn't check out the food as I wasn't aware they had any. Next time.”
“Amazing wine selection - whites, red & others. Really interesting European wine selection and amazing prices. Will be back regularly as I know live on Bainbridge Island!”
