“Some of the best (and most handsome) humans in the world work at this store. Bring your coffee and browse while you listen to some good shop tunes, and definitely chat with the brilliant employees. If I could award 2,000 stars, I would.”
“Dylan Everyday Clothing is a cute clothing shop for women, men and kids adjacent to Alair gift shop. In fact, there is a doorway in between the two so you can browse the clothing and gifts and back and forth (and pay for all items on either side). The variety of clothing ranges from PNW casual (so many comfy hoodies) to fancy party attire (at least for women). I love that they stock a wide range of sizes for all body types. They also have some options for shoes and accessories like hats, bags, blankets and sunglasses. For the quality of the clothing brands, the prices are surprisingly reasonable! So many great finds!”
“Hello from Wisconsin ??This is one of my favorites in SW SeattleDave is so welcoming and friendly. The items in his store are perfect gifts for friends far away. Stop in and feel the vibes!”
“Excellent place for the local minded shopper. A bit more off the beaten path than its Capitol Hill cousin, this particular spot has the goods on clever art work and unique gifts. Think of Spencer’s for when you lived in the suburbs but now you live in the city unironically. Finally, the staff here seems to be willing to share in on any jokes or humor you may have about your lifestyle in Seattle and there are a few hidden jokes amongst the stores inventory itself. Defnitely recommend a visit during a Sunday farmers market!”
“This is such a great store. Some of my favorite clothing came from my grandmother- who's a well-traveled artist with a great, classic sense of style. She has beautiful pieces, some dating back to the 20s, that she's taken incredible care of. Shopping here feels just like going through her closet.”
“We discovered Prism when we were exploring Ballard today, and what a great little shop! It had some beautiful jewelry pieces (rings, necklaces and earrings), hair accessories, books and stationery, home decor and gifts, and a curated selection of apparel for men/women.The price point is quite high here - think quality vs quantity - so check the tags to avoid sticker shock at checkout. (For example, some of the “sale” clothes had a retail price of $140-$200+… And some rings were $120-$250.)Prism is definitely a place you could find a unique gift for a close friend or family member that they’d cherish.”
“Cute little shop. Has a lot of cute clothes, but they are pricey. One cute pair of slippers I really liked were $60! Way too much for some slippers I'm going to just wear at home. I ended up buying a couple of chapsticks that cost me $16 without tax ?. Had fun looking at all the stuff, though.”
“Kym is awesome. Great cut and great chat. The ambiance of the shop is fantastic. Excellent service all around. I’ve been traveling all over the past few months and this was the best haircut I’ve had in a long time!”
“If you love country & western wear, or Nashville honky tonk style, then you’d love Gold Dogs in Ballard… They have a LOT of vintage cowboy boots for men and women, as well as clothes, cowboy hats, lariat ties, jewelry, western belt buckles, and flannel shirts for days.
If you’re going to a country music concert or outdoor music festival, you can probably find a great outfit here!”
“Here it is mid-December and they still have a great selection of plants, trees and if they don't have it they'll strive to get it. Over multiple decades Bay Hay has never dropped a beat in service and quality. They know plants and offer sound advice. So much more than a nursery.”
