“The staff at this Rodda location are exceptional and I found the products to be wonderful too! I decided to tackle the daunting task of painting my kitchen cabinets. They had been previously painted with latex and were peeling and in bad condition. The team at Rodda helped me outline a process for refinishing them, find the right products, and helped me with matching colors to go with our funky 1970s orange formica countertops.
Sarah and Justin were patient in answering questions and matching colors, helpful and informative, and fun and kind.

“I have done a lot of painting and tried all the brands and local stores. Sherwin Williams is the best paint, it just applies nicely and lasts.
Unfortunately, the stores vary in service like night and day. I have consistently had fast and professional service by knowledgeable staff at the Hazel Dell Store. The Salmon Creek store is always more like going to a mall where untrained, disinterested people are moving like snails as if you have all day.
This week, I took paint I purchased at Salmon Creek to Hazel Dell to get it tinted. Even though their computer systems suck and the stores don't maintain a common database, a fellow named Will took care of me instead of directing me back to Salmon Creek.
Thank you Will and the Hazel Dell team for many years of good service. Whomever manages the stores regionally and nationally should make Hazel Dell the model for their retail locations to follow.”

“After two failed paint matches from a major retailer and a direct competitor. I figured I would try Sherwin-Williams. I was met by Selena, I believe. She was upfront with what was needed to paint match. As the paint chip I brought in was too small. The paint color we were trying to match, was pretty difficult. It took about a hour and a half, she had a great attitude and genuinely wanted to make sure I got a match as close as possible. I can’t thank her enough and will go to Sherwin-Williams first. “I've been here twice in the past few days, and both times the staff was friendly and helpful. The previous owners of our house left us a quart of the interior paint, but when we tried to use it to patch, the color no longer matched. It was labeled a Sherwin Williams color, so we went to the Battle Ground store to find a solution. We first tried a fresh batch of the original color with less sheen, but that didn't match, so today I brought in a chip from the wall for automated matching. I brought the failed can just to ask them to dispose of it. Victoria helped me, and she took the extra effort to figure out how to adjust the paint I had already bought to bring it to the mix recommended by the automation. She saved me the cost of a quart of the Emerald interior paint, and she made me feel like a valued customer. Whenever I need anything paint-related, this will be the first place I go.”
