“Why 5 stars? Head on in and find out for yourself! You won't find a friendlier, more helpful staff anywhere. Example: I really wanted to upgrade my wet weather gear. I went in to get some opinions and insight regarding brands and materials and such. Figured out what I wanted, but it wasn't an item they carry in the store and was listed as out of stock online. Not to worry, because they found exactly what I was looking for at an affiliate store in Pennsylvania, the right size and color. There was only one. A call was made, and 3 days later I got a message that my jacket was there. Bingo! No hassle amazing service, every time I go in there. They carry a wide selection in store, and will go the extra mile to find what you need if they don't have it. Disclaimer: I am not a guide. Not sure why Google has that up there...”

“Kudos to Bellingham Honda. I just purchased my third Honda product through them. As I've come to expect the entire experience from walking on to the lot to leaving with a new vehicle was seamless professional friendly and believe it or not quite a bit of fun. Loved working with our sales representative Pete Davis who went above and beyond our expectations. Pete went out and found the vehicle we were looking for and was able to procure it in a timely manner. He never made us feel like we were being too picky. “I ordered 2 OCV for my 2018 WRX from the Subaru dealer and I forgot to order new gaskets/o-rings though. I searched and with shipping, the dealer wanted almost $30. I felt that was ridiculous so I continued searching. I came across AEP and they had the gaskets, including shipping for just over $15 which is half the price as the dealer!!!
The dealer who sent me the 2 OCV messed up and only sent me 1, I received my order complete from AEP before even receiving my other OCV from the dealer and I live on the other side of the country!
Everything was packaged well and as far as I can tell, they are genuine Subaru parts. AEP even sent me a pen in my order, the pen seems to be of good quailty as well, not just some cheap one you would get at the bank lol.
Any future purchases for any of my vehicles, AEP will be the first place I look!!!

“On September 13th, 2025, my car wouldn't start, I called AAA and for the next 3 hours waited in the scorching heat for the "AAA guy" to come and look at "why" my car wouldn't start. After about three hours, he eventually arrived. He was really sweet, compassionate and kind, and he tested my battery, startup time, and alternator. He showed me very clearly that it was the alternator and recommended that I go to AutoZone to get a new one. He explained that they sold parts, but I would have to find a mechanic to put the alternator in as they didn't provide these services. The "AAA guy" jump started my car but strongly advised that I should go immediately to AutoZone to get my car repaired. Off I went and what happened next can only be described as one of the most extraordinary experiences I've ever had. I arrived at AutoZone, on Guide Meridian in Bellingham, WA. It is a beautiful store, spacious, spotlessly clean and every spare part, mechanical and non-mechanical parts attractively displayed. What stands out even more than the lovely showroom, are the staff. I was warmly welcomed, and it was already almost 6.00 pm on a Saturday evening. I couldn't believe how kind, caring and genuinely helpful they all were when it was almost time to close the store. I would subsequently find out that their hours are long. AutoZone is open Monday to Saturday from 7.30 am until 9.00 pm each night and on Sunday from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. I walked straight up to a lady, who looked as if she was in charge. She was. Her name is April, remember that - you're going to need to know her name. This is the best Auto Parts store I've ever been to. I explained my dilemma to April, she listed and I told her that the "AAA guy" had told me that I'd only be able to buy the alternator at their store, BUT would then need a mechanic to take my old alternator out and put the new one in. She nodded her head and concurred that they only sell parts. I confessed to April that I was broke and only had enough money for the alternator. She told me that she had an idea and it would take a few minutes to call a friend of hers, to see if he had any ideas. I gave her some space and privacy to make that call. She came back smiling and said kindly; "I have some good news for you. My friend, Kyle is coming from Burlington (that's quite a drive!) to Bellingham, in about an hour's time, and he'd like to look at your car and see if he can help you". I was in total disbelief; I'd never come across such incredible Customer Service like this before. Kyle did arrive shortly, and he and April together worked on my car, until it was fixed. They also didn't have the exact alternator as I had originally bought my car in Canada. So, April called O' Reilley Auto Parts and fortunately they had the exact part that was needed. No problem for April, she drove me up to O' Reilley's store and I paid them for the alternator. If you're still reading this review, you have to agree with me, this is truly going above and beyond any Customer Service that you've ever heard of, and for me personally, an incredibly high bar in comparison to what I was used to from other service providers. BUT April and Kyle were still not finished with my car and the two of them worked diligently for at least two more hours, until the car ran perfectly and they felt I was safe to drive home. I wish I could give these two wonderful people 10 stars instead of 5. They both gave unstintingly from their hearts, not because they had to, but because they wanted to, AND for that, I'll be forever grateful. In addition, I also saw how well their staff in the store were trained. Nathalie and Juan looked out for the other Customers while April and Kyle were taking care of me. Juan is April's second in command, while Nathalie made sure that every person who came in with a dog, was sure that that dog got a special treat. They truly are like a family. “Northland solved a mysterious start issue on our boat's port engine. For nearly 9 months, after shutdown, the engine would simply not restart between 30 to 90 minutes about 50% of of the time. After 90 mins, it would restart and run normally. We tried all kinds of air/fuel solutions. No one could figure out the source of this odd behavior. Finally, the entire fuel injection system was removed and sent to Northland to be rebuilt. The repair was completed in early 2023 and the engine has run perfectly since. The repair was expensive and worth it.”

“My battery died when I was passing through Bellingham, and luckily O'Reilly Auto Parts was within 100 meters from our car. We waited over 1.5 hours for AAA and no one came. We walked over to to O'Reilly Auto Parts and there was a helpful staff member, Donovan, who tried to help us find the right battery for our Toyota Highlander. Unfortunately, they didn't have the right battery in stock, but he gave me suggestions where to find the battery and walked over to our car to assist in jump starting. Super nice guy!
