“Great deal! Fill a bag full of clothes for $5.00. That is less than the price of a single item at most other thrift stores. Supports Love Inc. which does so much good for families.”
“These men and women are the real heroes. I'm a veteran and my family and I had fallen on difficult times recently while attempting to go back to school. I was able to reach out to post 7 in Bellingham and explain some of our needs and we were blown away by the generosity and kindness that we received with this post. I wanted to thank all the men and women who serve at this post. It is truly an honor to be counted as a fellow veteran with them. Thank you again for all you do for us veterans, it really means the world to us.”
“Snagged two (REAL!) leather jackets and leather scrap for 16 bucks, as well as a sewing book for free. While the selection isn't huge and the place is designed like a warehouse, the deals you can find are absolutely insane and the work they do is amazing. Don't try your luck at a thrift store- try your luck here, because hot damn.”
“What a helpful staff!I stopped off to donate some dog food to the food bank. The wonderful lady at the front desk said "leave it here, we go there all the time we'll take it for you".Now that's good service!”
“My kids love The Firs. We have attended Forest Pre-School Firs and Fiddleheads, Fir Creek Day Camp, and Camp Firwood. My boys look forward to their time with The Firs programs every summer. The staff are awesome and invest so much into the kids.”
“Establishment was clean, organized and the staff friendly. A staff member allowed me to enter the indoor kennel area for canines, I was pleased to see the kennal area was clean, well maintained, and without heavy oders.”
“If you are nervous about donating blood, don’t be. The amazing staff at Bloodworks NW Bellingham will put you at ease and make your first time donating a breeze. I wholeheartedly recommend making your first appointment and seeing for yourself how easy it is to save two lives in an hour! Bonus - you’ll finally find out your blood type!”
“I had an exceptional experience with their end of the year energy assistance program. This will help me with my pse bill for the winter. Thank you so much for your help.”
“A cute, subdued vibe in a town that seems to be bustling with breweries. Downtown has received many upgrades in the past decade or so, with new buildings, a revamp to make it a place you want to live and work and play. Cafes and coffee shops have come full circle, offering quality handcrafted beverages and house made pastries. It's a new and improved version of the high hippie paradise of the 1990s.”
“We utilized the WDRC to provide a customized staff training focusing on conflict resolution specific to our industry/workplace. Their communication throughout the planning process was top notch, the workshop content included everything we hoped for, was easy to absorb, and highly appreciated by our team, and they helped with day-of logistics, so everything went seamlessly. We have participated in past trainings by WDRC and are always impressed by their presenters and subject matter. We can't say enough good things about this excellent community resource!
Thanks WDRC team!”
“The grounds are well groomed, the building was constructed at the turn of the 20th century which adds to its charm. Security is adequate without being over bearing. The inside is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. Pets are allowed but drugs, alcohol and weapons aren't. Guests can visit Mon-Thur 9a-5p. Ladies if you find yourself in a bind and need shelter come here first.”
“Great services in Children's Therapy. They are very good at working with everyone's schedules to get you in a regular opening. My grand child didn't mesh with the first assigned therapist, nothing about them personally she just wasn't open to them as that happens. After speaking to an office worker another therapist was assigned and it is going much better. The staff are all very professional yet kind and caring not only to the client but also her sister, they always offer her a treat after also. Highly recommend the services at this office location.”
“I will always always always give Habitat 5 stars, but I went into this one for the first time the other day and had a really good experience. Furniture was well priced (I didn't see a single thing over $250), and I scored a Princess Diana beanie baby for $8. It was marked at $15, and the girl at the counter was like oooh it has a green tag, so it's half off! The employees were suuuuper kind to me when I was in there.”
“The price for value you get for membership is here is amazing. Friendly staff, positive environment, and the gym has enough machines and space to be comfortable even at the busiest I've seen it. Also the YMCA is non-profit, who wants to pay those other greedy gyms with their sales tactics BS?”
“Stopped in when visiting the plaza. Conveniently located and plenty of parking. I would say Goodwill as a whole hasn't been super impressive for me in terms of selection in the PNW, but there were a few gems to be found here! I think the bag section is great -- walked away with 3 Dooneys from various eras. Also a Polo Ralph Lauren wool scarf! If I lived in the area I would be back. There is a lot of good thrift shopping in Bellingham and I think it's certainly worth including in your rotation.”
“The always have the best sales, furniture at amazing prices and the friendliest volunteers. My favorite part is that the money goes directly back into our community. They are doing Awesome work.”
