Hours: Cosmic Games is a well-run shop with a great atmosphere and a very nice store. It buys, sells, and trades a wide variety of games and gaming materials, including Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon TCG, Star Wars: Unlimited, Lorcana, One Piece TCG, video games, tabletop roleplaying game books and accessories, Warhammer, Battletech, and much more. They stock all the essentials and a good bit more, offering the best selection locally for Pokemon and other games. The store provides a lot of great events for the TTRPG and TCG communities and offers services like video game, PC, and tablet repairs. The overall selection is impressive, carrying favorite games and a nice selection of additional associated products. Many find it to be the best store for MTG, Pokemon, and more, and a go-to for materials like D&D minis. The environment is welcoming and tailored to gamers, with plenty of people playing games, making it a blast to be surrounded by like-minded individuals. However, customer service is often described as lacking, with customers sometimes feeling ignored. Communication is poor among the employees, with a prominent lack of customer service skills for some staff on the Pokemon side. Staff can seem a bit preoccupied until approached at the counter. Yet, other employees are really helpful, super informative, kind, and patient, with one amazing older employee noted as the saving grace for many interactions. While some communication issues persist, the store remains a great Local Game Store for its extensive stock and community focus.
