“Honestly amazing. I am leaving the state to go to medical school, and my girlfriend's dad had a medical emergency while driving our rental truck (he's now safe and getting the care he needs). He was the only insured driver for the truck. Staying with him in the hospital also took us off our timeline, probably putting us over 8 days. We were really scared of the logistics of transferring insurance and getting a new rental length, and to be honest I thought they were going to make us drive uninsured against a narrow timeline or re-rent entirely. After I explained my situation to them, instead they made sure to solve the problem for us. They re-rented our truck to us at no cost, refunding our first purchase while both restarting our 8 day timer and changing insured drivers.

In a market where most people want to take you for every cent you're worth, they went the extra mile (ha) to help us at the cost of their own time. They made a terrible situation much more manageable, and now I can focus helping my girlfriends family recover and on getting to school on time. “A nice fella named Jesse helped us with our trailer rental. He was very friendly and competent and helpful. He offered us the reasonably priced insurance, which was a good idea - many things can happen beyond our control which can have financial consequences. He hooked us all up, doubled checked and photoed what he did, and had us on our way to pickup a grill from Costco. Jesse also told us about U-Haul's service of selling propane tanks, and how one gets a free fill-up upon purchase. I quickly googled local costs, and saw it was a great deal. I let him know we'd do that, and he helped us with that as well when we returned the trailer 90 minutes or so later. When I need another cannister, I'll come back to u-haul. The next day I told my sister about the deal as well. As a side note, the Costco employee who was helping us load the grill onto the trailer asked me how much you charge for the rental. When I told him he was really happy and interested. He said he had a car like ours and was always stuck for moving things. I told him how easy it all was, and also let him know that there WAS the need for the trailer hitch, and how you folks did ours a couple years ago. It was worth the investment to be able to do things for ourselves going forward. So, thanks a lot for helping us get our grill home. Really want to shout out Jesse. He was just so simple, friendly, and genuinely helpful that it made the day nicer. Thanks.”

“Penske came through for me when the other company cancelled the rental. I was moving some things to CA from WA. I was in Need of a van or trailer to move. I went to U-Haul in Blaine, WA. They had agreed to rent to me. A wk later I get a call that I wouldn't be able to rent unless I drove the vehicle back to Blaine. Impossible since I live in CA. So now I'm stuck looking for another rental. I was finally able to rent from Penske. I will now continue to rent from Penske whenever I need to move. They were kind and helpful. Safe vehicles!!!
