Henderson Books is an incredible maze and a massive bookstore with used books in every section. It is like a miniature Powells, with room after room and shelf after shelf covering pretty much any topic. The store is beautiful, with extensive, well-organized, full shelves and secret places to read. It has a great kids corner and an impressive travel section. While not the cheapest, the prices are very reasonable. For avid browsers and book enjoyers, it is an exceptionally fine bookstore where one could happily get lost for at least an hour or two.

Henderson Books is a beloved used bookstore in downtown Bellingham with an enormous collection—around hundreds thousands books spread through maze-like shelves.
Browsing is part of the fun. Worth a visit when you’re around . 👌

One of my all time favorite bookstores. If you visit make sure you have plenty of time because it is pretty easy to spend hours browsing their massive selection.
