“I hadn't been in a Barnes & Noble for years. Went with my son yesterday. It is so big! They have almost any book you can imagine or want (and if they don't have it, they can get it). They also have loads more fun things for kids and adults alike: puzzles, games, crafts, toys, coloring books. Something you definitely don't want to miss is the Big Sale tables. They have some great deals! My son and I each found $5 books that we just had to buy. 😊”
“The owner is really nice and welcoming, and the store itself is gorgeous, sometimes I'll come by to see the sunset through the backwindows. However, it's pretty crowded with books and there's a lot of trip hazards for the clumsier among us. If you're prone to claustrophobia this might not be the best place for you.”
“Henderson Books is a beloved used bookstore in downtown Bellingham with an enormous collection—around hundreds thousands books spread through maze-like shelves.

“My kids love The Firs. We have attended Forest Pre-School Firs and Fiddleheads, Fir Creek Day Camp, and Camp Firwood. My boys look forward to their time with The Firs programs every summer. The staff are awesome and invest so much into the kids.”
“Back during my BTC days I was a regular at the bookstore. If I'd been Yelping back then, I'm sure I'd have been the Duchess...by far! It's small, but packed with tons of great supplies for students. I could never get enough of their colorful selection of Sharpies, their artful collections of interestingly-shaped highlighter pens, or their row up on row of cute notepads. It's true, I probably spent wayyy more money in here than I should have - especially as a student. They also have food, and if you forgot your lunch this is a great place to stop for a quick snack. Make sure and go when there are two cashiers (there's only one during the quiet times) - especially if you're in a hurry. There's also no parking near here so plan accordingly.”
“The store has a wide variety of WWU merchandise. The staff is friendly and fast. I couldn’t find my size in a few of the items. I think that was related to the supplier changing.”

“The book selection is quite nice and the organization is good, but the coffee shop inside is not as good. The coffee tasted like water and had no flavor. The bookstore is good though, they have new and used selections for a discount which is nice to see.”
