“Sofie is an excellent craftswoman and the best in town at what she does! Her services have always been so affordable, so quick, and so quality. When I got engaged, we decided to switch out a couple small stones and resize to very specifically fit my finger, which she was very helpful with finding the best size. She got them swapped and sized so quickly! Later, we found the main stone was a little loose based on the sound it made when shaking, and we brought it to Sofie who fixed it and polished it, both surprisingly at no charge! Once we were married, we went to her to fuse my engagement and wedding bands. She again had great turnaround and price, and said to bring it in for her to clean whenever for free. She's kind, to-the-point, and very talented. Will definitely be going to her long-term!”

Jewelry Affair did a beautiful job replacing it and matching it, as well as strengthening all of the gold fasteners that are part of the design of the ring. My ring looks like it did the first day I wore it 32 years ago! I am very happy with the restoration, and the shop is fun and interesting to view while waiting. “I found handmade adorable fun pieces from this precious gem of a shop. I was in college at WWU from 1988 to 1990 and swooned over this shop. As a waitress at The Colophon, we used soup bowls made from Good Earth Pottery. I could not afford it but never forgot this adorable shop. Now I fill my home with these pieces. Cups. Mugs. Sculpture. It all feels so personal.It’s Etsy on steroids.The pieces are shipped wrapped so carefully they should moonlight in organ donation or armaments. lol.I love this store. My heart lives in Fairhaven. And as long as I have a few bucks to spend on joy, I will stalk these artisans and dream of this shop.”

“Excellent quick service! $25 total because it turns out my watch has 3 batteries, and I opted to change out them all. Took about 4 - 5 minutes. Very happy with the service, and glad that Star Watch is centrally located in the mall, quick, and inexpensive for excellent service!The shop is really fun to look through as well! Lots of nice watches and clocks to choose from, with a variety of price points. There are even 4 of those classic cat clocks with the swinging tails! There are also other collectibles and swords. One of those really nice, quiet, awesome finds! Highly recommend stopping in!”

This was the 2nd stop of the weekend and was met with a great selection of jewelry and they had the chain I was looking for. Decided to come back at the end of the day and make an offer. With respectful negotiations I made the purchase and decided to make an offer on another necklace. Fair negotiation again! Would highly recommend you stop in and take a look around! “I feel like this particular store is so overrun with criminal activity DAILY, it's not safe to shop here. there are thieves so thick inside the store, and the employees can't stop them... there are the ones hanging around in the entrance sitting on electric carts, charging their phones... there are some begging as you walk in, then there are the ones in the parking lot that follow you... for only god knows what! I've sent emails to this store manager with NO response... I've personally seen people stealing without consequence, while i am questioned about a return! I've seen an elderly employee get yelled at... I've seen people with big duffle bags just picking and choosing whatever they want and leave. this place is NOT SAFE for single moms who are there after dark... thieves know they can do what they want... AND THEY DO! I wish the manager would address this issue and clean this place up! or maybe the store needs a new manager!! I don't know what its going to take for them to open their eyes and see what's going on, and do something about it!!!”

Zach was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, also knows quite a bit about the guns available in shop.Financially tight, the owner worked with me in extending my payment date an extra few days so I wouldn't lose my stuff. Super nice guys, will work with you in almost any situation, and fair. Wonderful experience here at Checkmate pawn I cannot recommend them enough.”

“I took My Fendi watch in today for its stem was broken. Preet, the owner of the shop, was very friendly and helpful. He explained the process he'd have to go through to fix my watch and he gave me a receipt for it. About an hour later he called to tell me that he fixed it already. I was delighted! He gets right on your project and figures out what needs to be done asap. I was amazed he called so quickly! In the future, I will be going back for all my watch fixing needs and when I need batteries for them too.”
