We had a great experience today at REI, Bellingham. Kyle in the shoe department was friendly and very helpful. He helped us find exactly what we were looking for. The cashier, Max, was friendly and professional. Thank you REI!

Lacking in customer service these days and wasn't impressed... especially in the shoe department. Usually it's mediocre and couldn't care less but today was definitely not it.

Bike shop wouldn’t sell me a couple derailleur shims after telling me they had them but didn’t want to have to order more for their shop. Basic stuff like this is where REI has gone wrong.

Shoutout to Tini in the bicycle department. Prompt and enthusiastic service on my bicycle, I only had to wait 15 minutes! This old REI bicycle of mine has been with me for 18 years, the bicycle meant a lot to me cuz it accompanied me through some tough times in my life, and Tini looked after it quickly and with a smile! Really made my day!

Terrible customer service, apparently chatting with other REI representatives and not waiting customers is prioritized at this location. I honestly can understand that and figure that REI understands my 1 star rating

Extremely inconvenient to try on jackets when they are all chained by the hip to the display rack. Bad business practices that inconvenience customers.

Garbage return policy. If your REI gear is poorly designed and falls apart in 13 months, you can kick rocks. Photo of disposable REI BRAND backpack after typical use. Very nice staff.

Stood There for 1 Hour With The Shoes 2 pair Merrell and Teva, I wanted to buy right now, They only help men with man buns WFT! is wrong with you people. I will just buy online at Ebay or Amazon, you guys SUCK! Never Again As Moles!!!!!

Red head Johnny in footwear - probably not best to tell your customers REI’s website is “dicey at best” and not even go look at your back stock. You don’t trust the website but you do trust your little hand held. I drove 50 minutes, trusting your technology. Then you proceed to tell me there are other places in town and when I asked what - you reply with “well a quick google search would tell you”. REI has lost their way. You were cocky and unhelpful in all ways! Keep up the good work ;)

Appreciate the expertise and incredible spirit of helpfulness of everyone at this REI.
Tonight the day before 4th of July my MTB obsessed son, blew out a tire and James T., in the bike shop, helped solve the problem. An hour before closing before a holiday. Wow. Really awesome to see someone go above and beyond and connect in such a cool way with my son (esp when there were clearly many other priorities). He took the tears right out of my son’s eyes… who thought he’d be without his bike for a few days. Very cool. Thank you James!
