“Needed a diagnostic and a very very minor repair. The total was around $324. Diagnostic ran to $240 for one hour. Very nice people. I wouldnt call the prices 'reasonable', but might reflect prices for the area.”

They got us in a week earlier than the next well reviewed auto shop could, and had us out the same day at a low cost. “My daughter’s brakes went on her car while visiting lake watcom from Canada. I googled mechanics in the area and rising sun came up. Took a chance and took car there. They immediately took the car in. Fixed it in 2 hours and got us back on the road and back to Canada. All at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend and thank you to the mechanic. “These guys are pros! I’ve had an annoying steering issue with my older truck for awhile, had other shops did alignments and never was completely right. They got it in, diagnosed the steering rack bushings as the issue, had availability within a couple days to swap it out and it’s never driven so straight, Thank you very much for your help with my truck! “as a younger woman i’ve had very limited good experiences with car mechanics. i was recommended this place through a friend and went in for car problems that another place was quoting me $8000 for. jeffery was the one who helped me and he was so incredibly nice and offered me a rental car free of charge for the day before he even did the inspection. the report he sent me on my car included photos of EVERYTHING with thorough details on what they found and why it needed to be fixed. it was the most detailed report i had ever seen in my life. he called me later and advised me to get a new car (lol), out of care that i would dig myself in a financial hole. (my car had a lot of problems and i knew that) he still took the time to explain everything and even recommend me the best cars to get and told me if i ever needed advice, he would happily help me look for a good option. i can’t recommend this place enough, it’s hard to find trustworthy and sympathetic mechanics nowadays, even though i didn’t get any work done, i more than appreciate the time and care they took to give me all the information i needed, still do an inspection, and then on top to offer me a rental car free of charge before even doing anything. thank you rods!!”
“Hands down the best mechanics in town!! I had been experiencing an issue with my Honda that was only manufactured in 1998, and the part to fix it was near impossible to find. Mark was dedicated to finding the part, and after 3 months of searching everywhere (and I mean everywhere), he received the part and repaired my car the next day! Such a relief. “Our 2012 Prius V has reached the 200,000 mile mark. We had major service items completed at Rod's, including timing chain replacement, parking brake adjustment, engine coolant/antifreeze flush, and replaced the PCV valve. Zach helped us identify items that could be deferred to a later date to spread out the cost and kept us informed through process. The car is running like new now. “No pun intended, but we had a pretty rough run of luck and both of our vehicles broke down within a short time of each other. Lucky's came through for us on both repairs much faster than we expected. Their quick turnaround meant we always had at least one working vehicle during a stressful situation.
One of the repairs was a complete transmission replacement, and they were able to source and install it quicker than I anticipated. Additionally, the owner is incredibly friendly, honest, and easy to work with. I never felt pressured into unnecessary repairs or upsold on services we didn't need.
