WorldMark Birch Bay is a great place for a close getaway from the Tacoma/Seattle area for a family. It is a fun hotel by a shallow beach that has very sandy low tides, offering a good small town atmosphere. The location is great, situated beside the beach strip with bay views and beside several restaurants and a bar. The rooms, including the one-bedroom units, are described as very clean. Many units feature a balcony with a barbecue. The property has a pool and hot tub, which are outdoors; the outdoor pools are not heated. The staff is consistently noted as extremely friendly, accommodating, and professional. They are knowledgeable and provide excellent recommendations, striving to make stays right and offering great service recovery when issues like maintenance needs arise. Staff are respectful and not too pushy regarding marketing presentations. It is a great location for visiting with family or friends, offering a relaxing atmosphere, especially during off-season periods without crowds. The nearby state park and local beachfront restaurants are highlighted as attractions.
We come here almost every year for a summer vacation, and it never disappoints! The staff are all very friendly, although of course the sales people have been pretty pushy. The rooms are nice and if there is ever a problem, the staff do whatever they can to make it right.

The vacation aspect is great. The constant pushing of owners and guests to upgrade or purchase always a buzz kill on vacation.

Great place and location!! Only negative experience was a random sales guy deciding to interrupt owners trying to chill out at the Hot Tub.
