5 star experience. I give 4 stars because the car I bought was low on coolant and air in the tire. Although they did fill it up for me! I called and my service rep was Jake. Upon me coming at the confirmed time the car was outside and he was essentially outside ready to greet me. Great experience and interactions with everyone working. The finance guy was a great guy too.Bought a used car and happy with it so far.

Great group of people!! James my salesman couldn't have been more helpful. John and Nick Diona were former customers of mine and though I didn't see John, Nick remembered me and my dog from former employer and like always was as nice as could be and just a down to earth guy. I look fwd to doing more business with Peninsula Subaru and from everyone I have met so far, it's a far different atmosphere then most dealers. You actually feel welcome and not pressured and can tell it's a family oriented business.

Peninsula Subaru is a great example of a modern dealership with a traditional feel. We bought here first in 2013. Obviously, you can't beat the product when it comes to the PNW faithful car make, but they also have always had welcoming and informative staff on the showroom floor. It's a great location for test driving but that leads to the one minor issue. My only real complaint is getting to the place heading South is treacherous at most hours. That's probably not worth dropping a star.

Fast, thorough, and knowledgeable. That was until I came to pickup my Nissan Leaf EV, and it had zero charge on the battery. It took 3 hours to charge it enough to make it home. It made for a 5 hour car buying experience.

Had a great experience buying my Subaru. Bret was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! He didn't try to oversell anything and listened to what I wanted. The finance department and DJ were great and were able to get me a lower percent and payments that I could afford. The process was quick and efficient! Thank you to the team at Peninsula Subaru!

I dropped of an old Subaru on the recommendation of a customer where I work, it was a rough experience that ended in everything working out.Due to a miscommunication work other than tinkering on it wasn’t started on my vehicle until I said I was going to take it somewhere else. After that they had it running in a day and a half.When I went to pick up the vehicle I noticed some loose lug nuts so I pulled it into the bay and they checked all of them and the tire pressure. I went to back out and noticed my rear view mirror was missing, Rick the service department manager made it right as soon as I called and told him about it.When work gets done it is good work and problems are solved quickly. The only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is it taking me saying I was gonna take it somewhere else to get the work started. As long as everyone communicates things should go smoothly here

My husband and I had a great experience with the Peninsula Subaru repair shop. Our 2020 Forester with 17K mi had its TCV go bad and they were able to get us in and repair it under warranty. Even though they were very busy, everyone was kind and helpful. Especially Gage, who helped me get a loaner car to make it to work, while waiting for my repair to finish. Gage was very accommodating and helped us get our car fixed in time for our much needed vacation!My husband is a skeptic, usually avoids dealerships at all costs and works on our cars himself... but even he was impressed, and we will definitely be using Peninsula Subaru again!

Forgot to write this about my purchase some years back, so getting to it now. Keep that in mind as things may have changed slightly.Standard dishonest practices when it comes to extended warranty. They’ll add it without a verbal request from you and hope you don’t catch it as you sign. This was my first new car purchase and it felt very deceitful. When I realized it and called the regional manager, I got no apology or acknowledgment for the mistake/practice, as it’s apparent it’s intentional.They also tried charging 3k because they get sundays off and offer free oil changes.. A ok option, but odd included fee. If I wanted to work 4 days a week, I wouldn’t pass the difference onto my clients.I’m realizing most reputable dealerships are sleazy when it comes to warranties. Until that changes, I’ll continue to reflect my experience in my reviews.

I visited their service department for what is very likely to be my last time today.To their credit, they did identify the problem, and solve it, while I waited. Rear wheel bearing died.The 1 star isn't because their prices are quite high, even compared to others at other dealerships in the last 2 years. I mean, they are, but that's not the reason.No, the reason is that they have decided to pass a basic cost of business to the customer. They are now charging an extra 3% for paying with a credit card.I get it, credit card processing fees are a thing. It's not free to take a credit card.It's also not free to take, process, and secure cash. Or to take and process checks.These are, as I said, basic costs of doing business.And it is outright absurd that an already expensive dealership is adding an extra 3% for something so basic.

My Salesman (Jonah) was the ideal salesman, he didn't pressure me into making an impulsive decision. He let me think for myself and went and fought to get me a price I was more comfortable with. I wasn't in love with the car after the test drive but he sold it after listing all of the features I would have compared to my old car. The team as a whole took care of me and made me feel like they were on my side instead of trying to scam me out of as much money as possible like other dealerships do. This dealership and especially Jonah get my utmost respect and will see me back for my next car
