About Bridgeport State Park
Bridgeport State Park is a beautiful and well-maintained park that offers a peaceful environment for visitors. It features plenty of trails for exploration and a nice beach area on the river, perfect for swimming. The park has wide, semi-shaded sites equipped with aluminum picnic tables and fire pits, making it comfortable for camping. Although the sites are not very secluded, they provide enough space for privacy. The restrooms are clean and well-kept, with a large shower area and good water pressure. The park is dog-friendly, allowing pets on a leash. Visitors are encouraged to make reservations, as the park can get busy. A modern playground and picnic area with BBQ pits add to the park's charm, making it an ideal spot for families, relatives, and friends to enjoy a happy moment together.

Absolutely beautiful! Very well maintained. The brightest green grass I’ve ever seen at a campsite. Sprinklers turn on in the night. Free hot showers. Dog friendly. I believe if a spot is available you can pay for one night but reservations are needed for more than one night stay.
