“We were just exploring the market when someone offered us cookie samples - so of course we had to stop, and I'm glad we did! We tried a bunch of the flavors and especially like the chocolate chipotle and open sesame. The shortbread-type ones had an amazing texture. We bought a tin to take home and it was so cute!”

“Popped in looking for some different souvenirs to bring home from our trip to Seattle. We were super glad we stopped in. They had a wide array of colorful and delightful designs for apparel, magnets, cups and more. Loved the fact that it was made possible by using an array of local artists. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We found some comfortable t-shirts to commemorate our trip that did not look like every other t-shirt that is clearly sourced from the same distributor. We had trouble walking away without buying more. I have a feeling that some of their wares will end up under Christmas trees of friends/family.”
“Had the pleasure of stopping by here on a trip to Pike Place market. The store is super cute inside & out and they had a lot of little kits for embroidery & cross stitch, some unique shower-friendly art, as well as tons of adorable stickers, keychains, and shirts. The employee at the register was very friendly & personable.
Bonus: They do in fact have a number of products for actual babies!”
“How have I never sang my praises for Alair through a review?! I love Alair so much. It has been my happy place, my candle mecca and my gift-giving savior since the day it opened. You can always find something unique and silly, and the staff is helpful, funny and kind.Highly recommend following them on Instagram if you're not already -- and if you live far away, peruse their online shop asap! They offer curated gift services, which means they'll get as detailed and specific as you ask. I had them create a "happy divorce" package for one friend and a "happy 40th, you're still a college BFF to me!" for another one.Locals, you can also rent the space for private shopping parties during Christmas time -- it's the best way to shop with friends during a busy season!”

“This is a good store. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. While it is a large tourist trap, it still has some interesting small totem poles inside for sale. This store sells several knick knacks and oddities, such as miniature wolf masks and custom made Lego mini figures of famous movie characters. They also sell honey roasted cashews and almonds, which they provide samples of. I tried a honey roasted cashew and it tasted quite good. They also have a fortune telling machine that costs a dollar to use. After looking around I left, satisfied with my experience. I gave this shop five stars because while it is a tourist trap, it still has some interesting items to look at, such as its totem poles.”
“Spectacular customer service! I love my new locally made hand warmer mug. ☕? I look fwd to enjoying the delicious orange tea I also bought in it. And the drinking chocolate too!”
“Such a fun store and organized very well into themes. Has candles, post its, notebooks, mugs, stickers, magnets, beanies, coloring books .. lots of ideas for gifts.”

“This was one of the friendliest shop experiences I've had in some time. Kahuna Dave was great and so welcoming! The conch shell welcome and 'Go Big Red' (Nebraska) chant was amazing. Thank you, Kahuna Dave, for a memorable experience and I will be back next time I'm in Seattle.”

“I had a wonderful first-time experience shopping at BoxLunch in Southcenter, Tukwila! Yodit assisted me with purchasing a Wicked Crossbody purse and was incredibly helpful and professional throughout. She guided me through the process and made sure I got my discount, which I really appreciated. Yodit’s friendly and attentive service made my experience memorable and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back to BoxLunch for more shopping. Highly recommend! My girlfriend loves the bag and will use it during the Wicked premier this month!”

Karla is absolutely the mayor of retail in Columbia City! ?️✨ She’s the kind of business owner who knows everyone’s name — and everyone knows hers. From the moment you walk into Andaluz, you feel the love, the laughter, and the sense of belonging that makes this place such a gem. ?
And let’s talk about her Employee of the Month — Concha! ?? Named after the concha shell, this adorable shop dog is the heart of the store. Concha greets everyone with warmth, wagging tail energy, and an undeniable charm that makes every visit brighter.
Whether you’re shopping for a friend, treating yourself, or finding that perfect gift, Andaluz has it all: gorgeous soaps, essential oils, journals, earrings, cards, reading glasses, and treasures you didn’t even know you needed. ?️??

“I came from Oklahoma to visit a friend in the Seattle area. While we were walking around and he was showing me the sights downtown we came across this shop and I just felt like I had to go in and look around. There’s so many amazing, beautiful, quality items for sale and the prices are really great. I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were given that the shop is downtown and I found the Seattle area to be much more costly than where I’m from. The owner who runs the shop was friendly and chatted with my friend and I while we were there. And we can be quite chatty with people anyways, so it was fun having someone at a shop who was welcoming and willing to be chatty, too! Definitely a shop I hope to visit again when I visit the area again someday. It was definitely among my favorite memories made while visiting such a wonderful area!”
“AWESOME customer service and knowledge about Seattle's history! Great things to buy! From greeting cards and trinkets to bags, books, EVEN JEWELRY! PLUS, it is RIGHT NEXT to the LIBRARY'S very own COFFEE SHOP... and if the coffee is from Seattle, you know it's gonna be GOOD!?”

“I want to say how helpful Chad and the staff are as they helped me out of a bind! When I visited last month, I bought a keepsake for me and a friend only for one to get lost in the mail. Chad was extremely helpful when I called to order and ship a replacement. Can’t recommend supporting local shops like this!”
“Loved this shop, came back a few times during my trip. . I think tourists mistake being reserved for poor customer service. The customer service here was great. The older man working the register had to deal with some of the rudest tourists I've seen. I don't know how they do it.I bought a basic sweatshirt with "seattle" across the chest. The price was competitive and fair for the item. I've washed it so many times since there and it is still like new so the quality is lovely.”

“What a gem of a store! You can find a pretty wide variety of authentic, beautiful items from around the world here. It was a pleasant surprise to find this shop in Pike Place. We picked up a Turkish lamp, which was specially ordered from a workshop in Turkey for this store.”
“Such a lovely and kind place. My sister and I went to select memorial candle holders in memory of our mother and the staff was so kind and helped answer our many questions and didn't panic at all with my 2 year old nephew joining us.”
“Loved shopping here! So many wonderful items to choose from! Staff was so helpful; terrific customer service! They shipped my purchase to me since I didn't have room in my suitcase; package arrived the day after I arrived back home! Next time I'm in Seattle, definitely making a trip back here!”
“The store has re-opened and just in time for the holidays! It closed 3/2020 and I really missed popping in to check out their cool stuff. I bring my clean takeout containers here to be recycled. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for being a part of the Burien scene.”
