“I was so happy to find this place in my neighborhood instead of having to drive into town. The owner was friendly, polite and informative, helping me understand some of the technicalities of coins and precious metals.
He was very gracious and personable and really put my mind at ease regarding the ins and outs and explaining some of the processes used in determining values and authenticity.

“New to Gunpla. I took the 1 line over 45 minutes just to check this place out. Tom was super nice and very informative. I ended up with the perfect action base for my HG Barbatos and also HAD to grab the Ver. Ka Nu Gundam MG while I was there. This is now my go to place for models going forward.
The prices were great. The dioramas and custom builds on display are simply amazing. Do not skip out on this place, even if you're just visiting Seattle.”

“Went in there to find sewing thread for a brand new machine (I’m a beginner sewist) and walked out with the right thread for my future projects, knowing about different needles and signed up for a free class to get to know my sewing machine. It doesn’t matter if you bought your machine somewhere else. They will teach you how to use it.
The free classes were small and with fantastic instruction from Laurie. Hands on practice paired with examples and individual attention throughout.”
“I’ve purchased a few games from the store and have found it to be affordable! The staff there are super friendly and they have a sizable inventory. They are such a wonderful staple in the neighborhood. Have a beer at Four Generals and then check them out!”

“I was in town for a comedy show and stopped into this shop by chance. But im glad I did. Great selection of current magic products. Priced at msrp which can be hard to come by. The vibe of the place felt warm and welcoming. The young man who helped me check out did a great job of pitching the stores custom Polaris sleeves and at only 7 bucks I had to give them a shot.
They have a lot of space for gaming and run local Pokémon and magic events. This is a game store worth stopping at.”
“Shane’s cards is an exceptionally good store, great selection, 5* even though theres some weird guy in a Hawaiian shirt eating Chicken wings with a plastic fork, trying to get people to donate $50 so he can .. open his own packs, not sure how that works, he just keep’s yelling “momentum” every 5 minutes and occasionally mutters about being successful.”
“I’m a beginner sewist and this shop has been a godsend!!! They have everything you could possibly need, and then some. A beautiful array of fabrics and tools for all types of projects. They also always have a good selection of Anita Jeram fabrics (my personal favorite)! There is an immense feeling of community within this shop. Everyone seems to know everyone and it’s extremely sweet and heartwarming. All the expert sewists behind the counter are always so nice and helpful! I love love love this place, and you will too!!? they sometimes give out bandaids too (when you check out) for all your rotary injuries! Amazing place!”

“Awesome store been shopping here for years. The first time I went in the storeroom I had an idea for product. I truly didn’t believe I could make it. The staff member “Sadiiq” helped me through the whole prototyping process and helped me realize I could actually achieve what I imagined. Which rubber to make a mold, which liquid plastic to use, he even pointed me in the direction of a local 3D Design House. And now years later I am launching our first model in retail stores! I wanted to thank him personally but he no longer works at this store! So if you see this Sadiiq, THANK YOU!!!”
“I visited from Minnesota and had yet to find anything that came close to my local hobby shops but this one did. Incredible selection of rare and diverse kits and with great prices too. This place is an absolute gem to the Seattle area and will definitely be heading back soon. Great service and a great overall store with the classic model shop atmosphere that is getting harder to find these days.”
“Honestly the coolest store I've ever been in, my jaw dropped when i saw the massive model car selection. Jose was a massive help! he was professional and more then willing to jump in and help with any of our needs. “Needed a very specific car for my father's birthday. Found the exact model online with a week to go and ordered it 2nd day air to be safe. Looked at the tracking info this morning and it wasn't going to get here till late next week!! So I found this shop online and took a trip downtown (the phone number listed isn't correct), total hail Mary to try and save the day.Google maps steered me wrong, but once I found my way to the shop (deep in the bowels of the super interesting / eclectic Pike Place Market), it was exactly what I was looking for! The owner was helpful and friendly, the car I needed was within arms reach and the price was reasonable (a bit more than online prices, but I didn't have to factor in shipping).10/10 would shop here again.”
