“booSH is quickly becoming one of my favorite plant stores! The owner describes his shop as more of a gift shop, but he’s selling himself short. Some of my favorite plants have come from this store! My Philodendron Lynette and Mayoi are THRIVING, and Shawn even tracked down a Goeldii for us. Prices are very reasonable and he takes great care of his plants! The plants are healthy, native to our area; and appropriate for urban gardens [i.e. growth size]. “10/10 for all things Christmastime! We were looking for nearby spots to take our 1.5 year old to see Santa and the "Burien Mom's Group" on Facebook suggest ZHN. We had never been before. Had no expectations and had a hard time finding out details aside from days/times Santa would be there. Showed up (first weekend in Dec) and NO ONE was there for Santa, zero line. We took our time, Santa gave our daughter a candy cane. Photos are free, taken on your phone, but donations are encouraged and go towards the City. The set up is gorgeous (better than a mall) and Santa was the real thing! It was so lovely to not stress with a crowd and waiting and being rushed. They also let your kiddo choose a free Xmas book from a library of donated books. We then wandered around, picked out ornaments (their selection is honestly unbeatable and worth stopping by just to browse). Went back for a second visit today for our tree! Prices for a locally-owned nursery are SO reasonable (trees, ornaments, etc). Santa was there again, no line, but our daughter didn't want to visit him again haha. Even so, they gave us chocolate chip cookies and another free Xmas book! Everyone that works at the nursery is insanely nice and helpful. Literally greeting you as you enter. My husband and I are SO happy we found this gem.”

“I really enjoy going here and seeing what they have and picking up new, interesting varieties of edible plants :-) (This time was a Goji Berry & a Wintergreen plant that you use the berries for flavor - I REALLY look forward to trying that!!). “For the last 4 years we've been doing a major remodel of a nearly 100-year-old wood building dividing it up into multiple workshops. I have purchased electrical, plumbing, lumber, and other related products. But I have also purchased I-joists, and split system heat pumps. Who knew. I have found the folks there to be friendly and helpful. But there is a special call out to the plumbing department especially Marty and Craig both of whom used to be plumbers and have proved to be very helpful and willing to answer most questions. Another person who has been especially helpful is Bob in electrical. My hat is off the good people working at this store.”

“I ordered an oversized mirror and had it sent to this location. Ted from delivery was SOOO helpful in getting my mirror loaded up in my vehicle. The mirror was very large and would not fit. He went above and beyond by using his own personal rope to help me get the mirror in and securely tied down. I'm a single woman and I don't have family locally to help me so this really meant a lot to me and made my night. Thank you so much Ted for your awesome customer service!”

“I'm Happy! Tropical Canna plants finally arrived, after an early cold Spring. Called yesterday and was connected to Dennis in the Garden Department at the Tukwila store. He was very pleasant, and as he was walking through the yard, asked other sales agents for the Tropical Canna. Excitedly, he informed me they had "lots" of them and remarked, yes, beautiful red leaves. I was in the store an hour later; purchased 6 (and other plants!) This year, all the plants looked healthy!! Unfortunately, Dennis was not available for me to give my Thanks; so please extend my Thanks for me!Sallie”

Don't b**** about HD employees not wearing masks. Just because YOU'RE scared doesn't mean EVERYONE is scared. STAY HOME. 3. If you believe all things COVID-19 but can't do the percentages on WHY you won't get it then you definitely can't use a tape measure. STAY HOME. 4. If you're frightened by the illegal immigrant labor crew standing by for work not wearing masks, STAY HOME. 5. Occasionally you buy s*** and it's damaged. It happens. Sometimes a vendor discontinues items which is WHY you found it on the discount rack in the first place. STAY HOME.”
