“I come to this plant shop every time I'm in Seattle. If you're looking for rare and usual plants (when available), this shop definitely carries them. Their selection of air plants is pretty amazing and the price can't be beaten anywhere. You can find a lot of good air plants for $2-3 a piece, sometimes even as low as 10-cents for the very small ones! I often buy their cactus soil, as it's well-draining and you can get a huge bag for about $7. Importantly, this store also carries pumice! Instead of ordering a 2 quart bag from Amazon for like $15, you can get a huge 5 pound bag for about $9. They also sell orchid bark. The selection of ceramic pots is also pretty good and much cheaper than other stores. Overall, Indoor Sun Shoppe has everything you need to take care of your plants and is certainly the best plant shop in Seattle.”

“I ordered flowers for the first time from Cedarhouse for a friend’s birthday this week and I was blown away by the gorgeous arrangement they sent. She was delighted and has been raving about them for days after receiving them. The arrangement was full of beautiful, colorful, truly unique flowers and each day she sends pictures of the latest new flowers continuing to bloom, and they smell heavenly. I can’t thank Cedarhouse enough for making me look so great! They will be my go to floral shop from here on out. Customer service was A plus from start to finish, thank you!”

“booSH is quickly becoming one of my favorite plant stores! The owner describes his shop as more of a gift shop, but he’s selling himself short. Some of my favorite plants have come from this store! My Philodendron Lynette and Mayoi are THRIVING, and Shawn even tracked down a Goeldii for us. Prices are very reasonable and he takes great care of his plants! We recommend booSH to all of our plant lover friends. Thank you again!”

“This independent nursery is a gem. The quality of plants is very high; especially compared to the big box stores. The plants are healthy, native to our area; and appropriate for urban gardens [i.e. growth size]. We also love the thoughtful curation of pots and other accessories that compliment the plants; to help you design a beautiful garden.”

“The lady working here was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. I was looking for dirt for a cutting and even though that's all I was there to purchase, she gave me a huge pile of cuttings she had intended to discard. It was a bright spot in my time there, and very much appreciated.”

“I love this store! It's a true blue old school hardware store that almost always has what I need as a fix it myself homeowner and gardener. Great tools, supplies, plus the more fun necessities in all housewares every season including specialty items. You could stock your whole kitchen with quality things from here plus have great gifts and kid's stuff too. The staff is totally accessible and knowledgeable and nice and I can be in and out fast. I go several times a month and can avoid all the big stores that take too much time and are harder to navigate and often disorganized. I highly recommend trying our small stores first and this one is exemplary. Plus it smells like a real hardware store and just opening the door is a pleasure to my senses. Long live tradition that is high functioning and prices are no more than the big stores, and often less. 5 stars and this review is long overdue for how much I love it. Going there now for 2" nails, a garden tarp, bathroom cleaning wipes, laundry soap, a new teapot, and to return some electrical supplies that I ended up not needing.”

“This is our neighborhood florist and they never disappoint. The owner is very good at what she does and has great taste in floral arrangements. Although we have ordered many arrangements over the years, recently we ordered a funeral wreath, last minute and it was so beautiful, I had to share.”

“We were helping my daughter put together her new bedframe. One of the screws would not go in. It turns out they forgot to tap that particular hole to receive a screw. I took the part and the screw to this Home Depot. The person in tools determined the size of the screw and pointed me to the appropriate tap and tap handle. I successfully used these and we were able to finish assembling the bed frame. Excellent customer service!”

“For the last 4 years we've been doing a major remodel of a nearly 100-year-old wood building dividing it up into multiple workshops. I have purchased electrical, plumbing, lumber, and other related products. But I have also purchased I-joists, and split system heat pumps. Who knew. I have found the folks there to be friendly and helpful. But there is a special call out to the plumbing department especially Marty and Craig both of whom used to be plumbers and have proved to be very helpful and willing to answer most questions. Another person who has been especially helpful is Bob in electrical. My hat is off the good people working at this store.”

“HD has an average score of 2.5 stars?! I see ALL of the Karens, Lindas AND Cassandras went to Yelp to complain. Pro Tip - 1. Don't start a remodel WITHOUT all of the materials needed. STAY HOME. 2. Don't b**** about HD employees not wearing masks. Just because YOU'RE scared doesn't mean EVERYONE is scared. STAY HOME. 3. If you believe all things COVID-19 but can't do the percentages on WHY you won't get it then you definitely can't use a tape measure. STAY HOME. 4. If you're frightened by the illegal immigrant labor crew standing by for work not wearing masks, STAY HOME. 5. Occasionally you buy s*** and it's damaged. It happens. Sometimes a vendor discontinues items which is WHY you found it on the discount rack in the first place. STAY HOME.”

“I ordered an oversized mirror and had it sent to this location. Ted from delivery was SOOO helpful in getting my mirror loaded up in my vehicle. The mirror was very large and would not fit. He went above and beyond by using his own personal rope to help me get the mirror in and securely tied down. I'm a single woman and I don't have family locally to help me so this really meant a lot to me and made my night. Thank you so much Ted for your awesome customer service!”
